KFC fans, we have some finger-lickin’ news for you.

For one day only, the colonel is dishing up one of his menu favourites for dirt cheap.

That’s right, the legendary Zinger burger - a favourite among Aussie - will go on sale for just $1.

The deal will take place on one day only, being Saturday July the 1st.

Fried chicken-lovers, be sure to set several reminders on your phone, because the deal is only available between 3pm and 5pm exclusively through the KFC app.

And while you’re there, there’s also a bunch of other daily deals at your disposal, including 30 nuggets for $10 as well as $1 Twisters.

Cheers, Colonel Sanders.

The generous-yet-slightly-dangerous offers are all part of KFC’s 11 Days of Christmas in July campaign – headlined by the ‘Christmas in July Feast’.

If you fancy tackling that, it consists of 10 pieces of KFC’s signature Original Recipe chicken, 10 Wicked Wings, 10 nuggets, one maxi popcorn chicken, three large chips, a large potato and gravy and two dipping sauces.

Again, cheers Colonel Sanders.

“Christmas in July is all about bucking the traditions and celebrating Christmas your own way,” KFC Australia chief marketing officer Sally Spriggs said.

“To help with the festivities, KFC is bringing all the goodies a true love should provide, from 11 days of amazing deals, to cosy new seasonal outfits, and a dedicated feast to share with the family you choose – because after all, tis the seasonings!”

Most importantly, though, all proceeds from the campaign will be donated to KFC’s charity partners.
