The 4680-Calorie McPizza Is Real And It Comes Highly Recommended

It's Friday night, you've had an ale or four and you're getting to the stage where you need to stuff your face with something horrendously unhealthy to quench the beer-munchies. We've all been there.

Every man has their tipple too. While some need to chow down on as many chicken wings as their alcohol-filled body can handle, others are far more partial to trying not to fall asleep while waiting for the pizza in the oven to cook.

Problems only arise at this time when you're with people who can't decide what food they want. And while problems like this can lead to unnecessary arguments, they can also lead to moments of pure genius like this...

Aiden Carberry, 26, and Warren Markham, 27, were unable to decide what to eat after a few beers one night when they decided to make the McPizza. And it turned out exactly how it sounds.

All you need are 10 McDonald's Double Cheeseburgers, 500g of mozzarella, one tube of tomato paste and some pepperoni.

Then you put all the cheeseburgers down as a base and remove the top bun. Sprinkle a load of mozzarella on top before placing the removed top buns back. Then cover the buns with tomato paste, apply more mozzarella and add the pepperoni on top. Bake for 10-15 minutes at around 200c. And... enjoy.

This is quite obviously a heart attack waiting to happen - approximately 4680 calories - so we don't recommend doing this every time you have a few too many pints but it's certainly worth doing as a treat at some point.

"My friend Warren said it tasted like everything he thought it would - McDonald's on a pepperoni pizza," Aiden told us.

No surprises there. The McPizza is real, lads, and it comes recommended.
