Mum Posts Hack To Get 21 Woolworths Ooshies For Just $33

Mums and dads all around Australia are frantically trying to spend as much of their hard earned cash at Coles and Woolies in order to get little pieces of plastic that will make their kids happy.

Whether it's the Little Shop 2 or the Lion King Ooshies, people seem to have been whipped up in a frenzy to complete each set.

If you've been living under a rock, for every $30 you spend at either supermarket you receive a little package that contains an item.

The aim is to fill up the box set and collect the rare items (which can be sold for thousands of dollars online).

There are 30 items in the Coles Little Shop 2 and 25 in the Woolworths Lion King collection. It's very common to have doubles, triples or more of the same item, so you have to spend a bit of dosh in order to get everything.

But one mum has posted a cheeky little hack online about how to get a whopping 21 Ooshie packets for just $33. Yep - for a little more than the cost of one Ooshie, you can get 20 more.

Woolworths has a deal whereby certain products will allow you to get an extra Ooshie for every item bought. You can get a maximum of five extra Ooshies per product.

Lisa informed everyone on the Woolworths Lion King & Coles Mini Shop 2 Australia - Swap, Sell and Buy Facebook group there are some really cheap products that offer the deal.

"If you buy five of each of the first four products on the list, you will get 21 Ooshies for $33.25," she wrote.

"If you buy five of each of everything on the list you will get 54 Ooshies and it will cost you $132.95."

That's a pretty decent bargain considering 21 Ooshies would normally set you back $630 and 54 would be $1,620.

Here are the items Lisa listed:

• Purina One Cat Food Pouches - $1.20 x 5 = $6
• Active Shot Yoghurt - $1.75 x 5 = $8.75
• D'Orsogna Leg Ham ($14 per kilo) **buy 100g only** - $1.70 x 5 = $8.50
• Dettol Hand Wash - $2 x 5 = $10
• Birds Eye Down - $2.30 x 5 = $11.50
• Oral B Kids Toothpaste/Toothbrush - $2.80 x 5 = $14
• Gilette Shaving Cream - $2.85 x 5 = $14.25
• Pantene Shampoo or Conditioner - $2.99 x 5 = $14.95
• Arnolds Farm Snack Bars - $3.50 x 5 = $17.50
• Cold Power $5.50 x 5 = $27.50

But there are bound to be others out there that are decent value.

Because these promotions are going to end next month, this little trick could mean the difference between a very happy child and a very upset one.
