Heavily Pregnant Mum Savages Man Who Took Up Priority Seats On Train

When she called him out, he replied with: “I work all day and can sit how I like, where I like.”

Pretty much every public transport system on the planet will provide a section for people who might need a seat more than regular people.

Whether it's pregnant women, the elderly, a parent with a young kid, or someone with a disability, there's no denying that they probably need that seat a hell of a lot more than you.

While some people take the seat even though they don't fit that category, it's common sense that if you did see someone that needed it, you'd jump up and offer it quick smart.

But a woman on a Brisbane train has revealed that some people are just plain dickheads.

Writing on Facebook, the eight-month pregnant woman said: "Shout out to this douche bag who wouldn't move for me to sit down on a packed train despite sitting in the 'disabled, pregnant, adults carrying children' area."

The picture shows the bloke in a high-vis top essentially lying down across two seats, with his leg up on one of the priority seats.

Shockingly, when the heavily pregnant woman called him out on the issue, she said he replied with: "I work all day and can sit how I like, where I like."

What. A. Tosser.

Thankfully the woman has found some solace in supportive comments from people on social media. The Facebook post was chucked up to the Brisbane Reddit page where people have not held back.

"He ain't doing any work of relevance with those fuckin' shoes," said one person.

"What does him working all day have to do with the fact that he's taking up two seats when he only needs one," wrote a second.

A third added: "Yeah I'd ask him to move and if he didn't I'd just sit on his legs. Maybe wrap my arms around him. I'm sure he'd move pretty quickly."

It's a similar level of outage that happened when a picture of an elderly woman was seen standing while three people were sitting down.

Facebook

The picture was shared on Facebook and has unsurprisingly received a lot of attention, with 1,400 comments and 25,000 shares, since it was posted last week.

The quartet of passengers have been slammed for failing to give up their seats.

One person wrote: "Shitty parenting results in shitty children. They probably don't know any better thanks to their parents trying to be their best friends and not preparing them to be adults."

Not everyone was as quick to condemn the seated passengers however, with some claiming the picture might not tell the whole story.

One user wrote: "Not defending them but... someone may have offered, but the elderly said 'No It's ok I'm getting off soon or at next stop'."
