A viral fad has claimed yet another victim - this time around it is the Kylie Jenner lip challenge.
Fortunately, unlike with the tide pod challenge and that one where you just take a selfie in a really daft place, victims of this trend don't die, they just look like a fish for a bit.

Lily Greenland, from Cheshunt, Hertfordshire, attempted the challenge - which involves holding your lips in a shot glass - in order to end up with a plump pout like the star. However, her attempt to inflate her lips was way too effective, if anything, and the 12-year-old was left looking fairly daft for two days.
Fortunately her mum, Danni, was on hand to film the whole thing and laugh at her.
A sympathetic Danni explained: "I would say she looked like Pete Burns, to be honest.

"I've never seen lips like it in real life. It was very surreal. It was like a lip filler job gone very wrong.
"Hopefully it's put her off having lip fillers when she's older. They were probably about three or four times of the size of her natural lips. She usually has quite small natural lips.
"She took it off her lips and looked like that. It was really funny. I found it so shocking seeing how big her lips were. It was only on her lips for about a minute. It was mad how plumped up they did get just from a shot glass, to be honest. It worked, but that's not the look you want."
The largeness of Lily's lips didn't diminish in a hurry either, with Danni comparing her daughter's appearance to that of 'a baboon'.

The 30-year-old customer service manager said: "They're looking nice and bruised now. They're not as big but they're still not back to normal.
"They're a bit big and underneath her lip she looks like she's got a beard now. It looks like she's got stubble. She looks like she's got big lips and a bit of stubble. It just looks dirty. It's not a good look.
"She was eating fine, but with talking her bottom lip was just hanging down because it was so big.
"So when Lily was talking she couldn't say the words properly. She looked like a baboon, but that didn't last too long."
Despite the challenge clearly making Lily look a little daft - as outlined - Danni fears her daughter may try it again in the future.

The concerned mum said: "This is the sort of thing she normally gets up to. She does tend to do quite a few things. I'll be at work and will get a 'mum' call when she's done something silly.
"She once got a ring stuck around her toe. She's like having a two-year-old.
"She was saying she wants to do it for prom when she's older and I was saying, 'No, you're not.' Maybe she hasn't learned."
