The Binley Mega Chippy has become the latest viral sensation, but not everyone wants to go to the fast food joint in Coventry - especially if they think they're going to The Shard instead.
That was the fate of this poor woman, who's gone viral on TikTok after being taken by her date to the recently famous Midlands eatery, instead of what she thought was going to be a lavish night of wining and dining at London's swanky Shard.

The unfortunate date was taken to the Mega Chippy by none other than TikTok star @J2Hundred, who posted a video of the couple eating outside the packed takeaway.
The Binley Mega Chippy has become ubiquitous in recent days thanks to its catchy theme tune that's been popping up on TikTok videos all over the platform and a viral video that ranked it number one in the UK for best takeaway.
It's no surprise then to see people flocking to it in the video.
However, the date (@j2xkia) did not look impressed at being taken there for date night, refusing a bite of food from the fork of J2Hundred as they sat on a bench together in the clip captioned: "Date night at Binley Mega Chippy".
The reason for her unhappiness became clear on her own TikTok channel, as she posted a duet with the internet star, filming a selfie from a car where she looked grumpy along with the caption: "I thought we were going to the Shard."

To our knowledge, no one has yet called Binley Mega Chippy 'The Shard of Coventry' so we can understand her disappointment.
However, even j2xia couldn't resist the delights of what is seemingly the UK's most popular takeaway currently.
In a third video, in which she says she 'can't believe how embarrassed' she is to be there, she softens after trying the chicken and chips.
J2Hundred meanwhile is noshing on a plain chicken burger and chips.

Sat in the car at the end of the video giving a review of the chicken and chips, j2xia seems impressed and reviews the Binley Mega Chippy as a '10/10'!
The legend lives on.
It was a good job j2xia was into the food because she wasn't getting much sympathy in the comments after expressing her dismay at not being at The Shard.
One user wrote: "Bro did you right tho so don’t be bad I would die to go there," while another added: "bro jus gave u a upgrade at the best place on earth".

A third commented: "It has everything the shard has to offer except how tall the shard is," and a fourth said: "Shard nd binley mega chippy are on the same level maybe binley abit more classy."
Other restaurants be fearful, there's clearly only one place people want to go to right now.
