Daniel Craig plays Tuvia, one of three Jewish brothers held prisoner by the Nazis in 1941. After he and his brothers, Zus (Liev Schreiber) and Asael (Jamie Bell), manage to escape and take refuge in the forest where they played during their childhood, they seek revenge on the Nazis. As news of their exploits spreads, others join the fray, willing to risk their lives for freedom.

Daniel Craig plays convicted killer Perry Smith, who becomes the subject of an author's (Toby Jones) greatest works In Cold Blood. Jones' character, Truman Capote, develops an intense and complex relationship with Smith as he researches for his book. This thrilling film is set in Kansas and also stars Sandra Bullock as Harper Lee, Perry Smith's childhood friend.

6) Munich (2005)

Daniel Craig forms part of a deadly team of hitmen which has been tasked by the Israeli government with targeting 11 individuals in retaliation against the murder of 11 Israeli athletes in the 1972 Olympics. Craig plays a driver and is joined by a forger (Hanns Zischler), a bomb-maker (Mathieu Kassovitz) and a former soldier (Ciarán Hinds) in this worldwide operation. But as the assassinations tally up, Avner, the leader of the operation, begins to doubt the morality of his actions.

Daniel Craig plays an unnamed mid-level cocaine dealer in London who plans on stepping away from the criminal life. But as you can imagine, this isn't a smooth exit and before he can cut ties, his supplier, Jimmy Price (Kenneth Cranham) hands him a list of complex final jobs. Craig's character is tasked with kidnapping the teenage daughter of a rival gangster (Michael Gambon) and brokering the purchase of a large shipment of ecstasy pills from a dealer known as "the Duke" (Jamie Foreman), leading to a series of elaborate double-crosses from all corners.

In this 2011 hit movie, Daniel Craig plays the disgraced reporter Mikael Blomkvist, who finds a chance to redeem himself after being hired by a wealthy Swedish industrialist Henrik Vanger (Christopher Plummer) to solve the 40-year-old murder of his niece, Harriet. Eventually joining Blomkvist on his dangerous quest for the truth is Lisbeth Salander (Rooney Mara), an unusual but ingenious investigator whose fragile trust is not easily won. Based on the hit novel, it's a stylish and intriguing mystery that shouldn't be missed.

But complications arise when a mix-up forces the crew to pull off the heist during a popular NASCAR race while also trying to dodge a relentless FBI agent.

Knives Out has been voted Daniel Craig's best movie, even coming out on top of all of his James Bond films. Craig plays Detective Benoit Blanc, who's tasked with solving the mystery surrounding the death of crime novelist Harlan Thrombey (Christopher Plummer). Everybody in the Thrombey household is a suspect as Blanc navigates his way through a web of lies and red herrings to find the truth.
