Blink-182 star Mark Hoppus recently revealed that he's been diagnosed with cancer and is receiving chemotherapy, with his wife of more than 20 years by his side.
The vocalist said "it sucks and I'm scared," but that he's "blessed with incredible doctors and family and friends to get [him] through."
The band member added that he looks forward to seeing his fans in a Blink-182 concert again soon.
Mark Hoppus is the bassist and co-lead vocalist of the American band Blink-182. He's the only remaining original member of the band.
Hoppus was born on 15th March 1972 in California, which makes him 49-years-old.
Mark is 1.88m (just over 6 foot) tall.
Hoppus has been married to Skye Everly (48) since 2000. They reportedly met through fellow band member Tom DeLonge.
The two have one son together, Jack Hoppus, who was born in 2002, making him 19-years-old.
Everly (now Hoppus) started out in TV as a talent executive, but made a career change and became a clothing designer after becoming a mum.
She launched Childish Clothing in 2003, which is a maternity and baby clothing brand.

The band, which was formed in 1992 in California has seen members come and go over the years. The original members were Mark Hoppus, Scott Raynor and Tom DeLonge.
Raynor quit the band in 1998 and DeLonge left in 2005.
Currently, the band is made up of Mark Hoppus (bass and vocals), Travis Barker (drums) and Matt Skiba (guitar, vocals).
In 2003, the band changed its style and sound, with the release of the new album Blink-182.
Hoppus and Barker made the decision to suspend the band after DeLonge left in 2005.
