Fans of Britain’s Got Talent think they've worked out the identity of Noodle the Cat.

The bizarre CGI cat took to the stage this week, stunning viewers with their pitch-perfect voice as the animated character danced along to the music.

Whilst the mysterious voice may have captivated audiences at home, some viewers had some questions about the musical moggie.

Many have questioned why the animation has been given an audition when they are not physically in the room.

Unlike the other contestants, Noodle the Cat has been digitally added to the stage using CGI – singing and dancing in a similar style to the iconic 00s band, Gorillaz.

It left many viewers confused as to what the judges actually saw on stage, with some fans of Britain's Got Talent have even taken to social media to discuss the catchy cat’s performance.

Getting their claws out, one fan even angrily tweeted: “I don’t understand that noodle cat on BGT like… what were they seeing if it was an animation…”

And they weren’t the only ones questioning the moggie’s musical performance, with some viewers admitting that the cat gave them seriously creepy vibes.

“Noodle the cat is full Black Mirror vibes,” they wrote, as another wrote: “I swear I’ve seen this on Black Mirror before!”

Despite, the backlash and the confusion over the performance, Noodle the Cat got the Golden Buzzer from others watching at home.

Another fan even pointedly wrote: “People complain that they're seeing the same old thing every year, and when something different is on stage like Noodle The Cat, they still complain.”

Noodle the Cat has seriously stumped some fans.

Whilst Noodle the Cat may be causing some major debate online, there is another catfight about who is behind that incredible voice.

Many fans have been theorising online with many likening the performance to The Masked Singer series, with one writing on Twitter: “This singing cat act is an idea producers have come up with, off the back of Masked Singer.”

Seeing this, other viewers guessed which former contestant had appeared as Noodle the Cat this week.

“Tom Fletcher from McFly/McBusted, is the voice,” guessed one, whilst another stated a former BGT contestant: “That cat thing is 100 percent Tom Ball’s voice.”

However, others weren’t convinced that Noodle’s voice belonged to a singer, with one fan arguing that it could be magician Marc Spellman behind the moggie.

As the audition continues to stump fans, many are wondering how far the furry feline will go.

Guess we'll have to see what Noodle does next.
