Fans of Breaking Bad are getting pretty excited after spotting the name of tonight’s episode of Better Call Saul.

It’s been almost 10 years since the finale, but it looks as though Walter White (played by Bryan Cranston) and Jesse Pinkman (played by Aaron Paul) will be back on our screens tonight as Better Call Saul's latest episode is titled Breaking Bad.

It’s previously been confirmed that Walter and Jesse will be returning to our screens in the spin-off series, and with just three episodes left before the show wraps up for good, Breaking Bad fans are convinced that tonight is the night - and they’re pretty bloody excited.

Posting on Twitter one said: “Tonight episode of Better Call Saul is called Breaking Bad. I think it’s safe to say will be seeing some Breaking Bad characters make a cameo here tonight.”

Another said: “Can’t believe there’s a new episode of Breaking Bad tonight...”

While someone else wrote: “Less than 12 hours till two of the greatest television characters ever return from the greatest show ever made into the second greatest show ever made. What a night man.”

Fans of Breaking Bad may also remember that we were introduced to Saul Goodman (played by Ben Odenkirk) in an episode titled Better Call Saul - so it makes sense that in a similar fashion tonight’s Better Call Saul episode titled Breaking Bad could be an ‘introduction’ to Walter and Jesse.

The return of drug-cooking duo was confirmed by Better Call Saul co-creator Peter Gould all the way back in April, but details have been kept strictly under wraps.

Speaking at PaleyFest LA, Gould said: “I don’t want to spoil things for the audience, but I will say the first question we had when we started the show was, ‘Are we gonna see Walt and Jesse on the show?’ Instead of evading, I’ll just say yeah.

“How or the circumstances or anything, you’ll just have to discover that for yourself, but I have to say that’s one of many things that I think you’ll discover this season."

Exciting eh?

While speaking at the same festival, Odenkirk said: “I personally feel that the two shows — Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul — are entwined even more than ever in the final season.

"And I think that’s surprising and cool, and it’s gonna make you want to watch Breaking Bad again."

Better Call Saul episode 11 airs on Netlfix in the UK on 2 August - fans in the US can watch it on AMC August 1.
