One of Stranger Things' stars has issued a bit of a heartfelt plea as the latest episodes are now streaming.
Volume 2 of the fifth and final season landed on Netflix in the early hours of this morning (26 December), featuring some major moments.
From discovering the Upside Down is actually a wormhole to another dimension to some very close brushes with death, the latest episodes also featured a moving scene in which Will (Noah Schnapp) came out as gay to the gang.

“I haven’t told any of you this because I don’t want you to see me differently. But the truth is, I am different,” he tells them.
But while some Stranger Things fans slam the new episodes, Schnapp himself has asked them to do a specific thing, while the creators also ask them to fix their TVs up.
Having starred on the show since its very first episode way back in 2016, the 21-year-old has truly grown up on the set.
And on Instagram, he reflected on the experience as he said he was ‘so excited to share this chapter’ with the viewers.
Schnapp then went on to ask fans: “As we head into the final week of Stranger Things, please take a moment to really soak it in."

Alongside some behind-the-scenes snaps from the show, he continued: “Cherish these last moments, finding comfort in your favourite characters, debriefing with friends, reliving scenes together online afterward.
"These matter more than we sometimes realise."
The actor went on to say he is ‘so grateful’ for the family he’s built with fans as he said: “One of the greatest joys for me has been watching you form real friendships with each other, meeting you unexpectedly in public (or purposefully on DMs and video games) and feeling your pure excitement, and knowing how much this show has meant to so many people who needed connection, belonging, and a place to feel accepted.”
Schnapp said they will ‘always have a place’ with him and in the show, as he added: “If there’s one thing to remember from our show: connection is what keeps us alive.

"And the only way to truly connect is to let people see the real you and realise you can be loved even more when you do.”
He went on to joke that while telekinesis and ‘cool hand movements’ can be ‘pretty badass’, real power is: “Friendship, loyalty, and accepting yourself and others exactly as we come.”
It’s a pretty big moment for fans to see Will come out on screen, particularly after Schnapp previously spoke about finding confidence in himself and his own queerness thanks to his character’s.
Stranger Things Season 5 Volumes 1 and 2 are now streaming on Netflix. The finale lands at 1am on 1 January 2026.
