It may have been one of the last auditions for this series, but one dancer has blown away the Britain’s Got Talent judges with their emotional performance, so much so they broke show rules for him.

Both the judges and the audience were moved to tears when Musa Motha, a one-legged dancer, took to the stage during the ITV show last night.

In fact, his performance was so good that head judge Simon Cowell broke protocol for this contestant.

The moment is even more incredible when you learn the story behind Musa’s amazing performance, with the amputee explaining how he lost his leg.

Originally from South Africa, Musa had been diagnosed with cancer as a child and eventually, lost his leg to the disease.

Though he’d had dreams of being a professional footballer, he enjoyed dancing with his friends and eventually pursued his passion.

While he did admit to being a little nervous before taking to the main stage, his anxiety was soon silenced as the 27-year-old showed off his incredible talent.

Dancing to 'Runnin (Lose it all)' by Beyoncé, Musa got a standing ovation from everyone in the room.

Walking backwards, he was overwhelmed by the moment and was joined by hosts Ant & Dec – both of whom were clearly moved by the dance.

Even judges Amanda Holden and Bruno Tonioli cried after the emotional routine, with them, Alesha Dixon and Simon Cowell all joining in on the standing ovation.

During the applause, the crowd could be heard chanting ‘Golden Buzzer’ as they cheered for the young dancer.

However, as it was the end of the auditions no judge had a buzzer left to give.

The button, if pressed, gives performers an automatic place in the live shows.

However, it was then that head judge Cowell decided to break the rules for the incredible performer with all the judges pressing the button together.

Still crying, Tonioli told Musa: “This is all for you!”

The golden buzzer was awarded to the young dancer.

As the golden confetti fell around the young dancer, he broke down and dropped to the floor after everyone’s reaction.

Still in shock, he was then joined by the judges who gave him a congratulatory hug as Musa’s audition came to an end.

Given how amazing his first audition was, fans can’t wait to see how the young dancer will do during the live shows.
