Brooklyn Beckham trolled after making 'experimental' gin and tonic cocktail

Brooklyn Beckham trolled after making 'experimental' gin and tonic cocktail

The aspiring chef has unleashed a brand new recipe, but people are totally confused about it

Brooklyn Beckham is back in the kitchen and this time he’s whipping up ‘experimental’ cocktails, although fans are less than impressed.

The self-confessed ‘kitchen nutter’ was filmed for Bustle making cocktails and he revealed he’s ‘very experimental’ when making drinks.

However, when fans discovered that the ‘experimental’ concoction he was referring to was simply just a good ol’ gin and tonic, they were left utterly confused.

“I’m very experimental, I love trying to make new drinks, trying new recipes, you know I’m a nutter in the kitchen," Brooklyn said in the video.

Brooklyn Beckham is once again being trolled for his culinary skills after making a simple gin and tonic.

He added: “I used to love going to the pub with my friends but obviously now I’m married and have my best friend with me all the time our favourite nights are staying in when I cook and make drinks.”

The aspiring chefs take on the gin and tonic only has two main ingredients and they’re extremely obvious – Monkey 47 Gin and tonic water.

And just in case you want to make your own experimental Beckham-certified cocktail, the other ingredients includes cucumber, rosemary and mint.

Well, as predicted, Brooklyn's G&T didn't go down all to well with fans, who took to the comments to call him out for making something 'experimental' so simple.

One unimpressed viewer commented: “Oh how cool and edgy is he?! Rosemary, mint, lime?! All in a gin a tonic?! Wow!! Also have just realised he took his wife's name in a double barreled surname. Omg. So deeply cool. I just can't. Might need one of those g&ts to calm down.

Another person shared: “Hey Brooklyn, please I'm desperate to know your recipe for ice, it looks fantastic.”

While a third quipped: “So it’s a gin and tonic.”

The confusion and bewilderment continued over on Twitter, with one user criticising the video: “I still can’t work out if Brooklyn Beckham is trolling us or the people who manage Brooklyn Beckham are trolling him.

“Here he is being ‘very experimental’ and a 'nutter' making his signature cocktail which is a gin and tonic. He makes it with gin and also tonic.”

Brooklyn has been trying to break into the hospitality industry as a chef.

Other people commented on the unintentional humour in the video and compared it to Beckham’s foray into photography.

“I’m sorry. I’m slightly obsessed with Brooklyn Beckham,” they began. “First his photography. Then his cooking. Now his cocktail making.”

Social media users have also expressed some sympathy for Beckham’s predicament, however.

“In a way I feel bad for him,” they wrote. "He’ll always get in the neck for having famous parents… He’s clutching at straws for ways to prove he’s talented…"
