Britney Spears Shares Video Of Moment Her Foot Breaks While Dancing

Britney Spears has shared a video of the moment she 'broke' her foot while dancing without any shoes on - it probably goes without saying, but this clip CONTAINS GRAPHIC CONTENT.

Spears, 38, had been dancing around barefoot - a better way to grip the floor, apparently - to Kings of Leon's 'Sex On Fire'.

She seemed to be having a lovely time freestyling her way through a short yet intense routine, but things were cut short when she went over on her foot, as seen towards the end of the video above.

Sharing the slightly toe-curling footage, Spears apologised for the 'kind of loud' sound her foot makes when it snaps, writing: "I haven't danced in six months so I was full throttle at this spot!!!!

"And yes... I know I'm barefoot... Don't laugh but I grip the floor better that way !!!!

"PS you can hear where I broke my foot here... Sorry it's kind of loud!!!!!"

In an another video posted yesterday, Britney also showed off an impressive-looking cast around her foot as she read out fan letters.

"Unfortunately I've been dancing and I broke my foot," she said, pointing down to her cast, the word 'Stronger' etched on in marker pen as a nod to her 2000 hit.

It was Spears' boyfriend Sam Asghari that first shared the news that Spears had had an injury, revealing on 18 February she'd broken her metatarsal bone in her foot.

Sharing a series of selfies and videos from hospital, including a short clip of him signing her cast with 'Stronger' in capital letters, Asghari wrote: "When you break something it tends to heal stronger specially when you're my Girl.

"My lioness broke her metatarsal bone on her foot doing what she loves which is dancing.

"Wishing her the best recovery so she can jump, run, and dance her butt off."
