Smith, who plays Craig Tinker on the soap, has been working hard to get fit recently, having shared regular updates with fans on social media.
And a bank holiday hasn't stopped the 21-year-old's drive, as he shared a photo from today's run, writing on Instagram: "Bank Holiday run done. Feet up and some family time while staying at home now! Have a good un folks️."
Smith's efforts have impressed his followers - including some of his Corrie co-stars, who had nothing but love for him.
Andy Whyment, who stars as Kirk Sutherland on the show, replied in the comments: "Looking absolutely mega pal well done."
Brooke Vincent, who plays Sophie Webster, added: "CRAIG TINKERS GONNA HAVE GROUPEES VERY SOON."
Smith has been documenting his fitness boost over the past few months, having posted a snap back in February from outside a boot camp.
He wrote: "WIND, RAIN & SNOW! I've been through it all this week in my second home! @no1_bootcamp. Recharged and ready to go! Mint week with some charming people!!"
Thankfully, by pounding the pavement it sounds like Smith is hopefully shedding the weight he wants to in a safe, healthy way - unlike the time a bout of seafood poisoning led him to slim down a little more, erm, erratically.
Speaking on his podcast Sofa Cinema Club, which he hosts with Corrie co-stars Jack P Shepherd and Ben Price, the actor recalled how he ignored a pal's advice about eating seafood.
Smith said: "I was in Ko Lanta. I was sat on the beach and the waiter came over and was like, 'What would you like?'
"And I said, 'I'll have the prawns to start, please.'
"I had avoided seafood [on Ben's advice] but I was sat on the beach and I was like, 'How can you not have seafood on the beach?'
"Well, anyway. I'm not doing that again."
He jokingly added: "I've lost about a stone and a half."
