Coronation Street's Colson Smith Shows Off Weight Loss On Instagram

Coronation Street star Colson Smith has shared more pictures revealing his recent weight loss.

Smith, who plays Craig Tinker on the soap, has been spending his time away from work by working out and running.

Sharing an update on his Instagram Stories, the actor posted a photo of himself in a slim-fit grey tracksuit, while an earlier post showed him ready to set on a run - undeterred by the recent spell of hot weather we've had.

The actor is reported to have lost around two stone and now looks very different compared to his former self.

Compliments from his Corrie co-stars came flooding in when he showed off his newly trimmed down physique last month, with Andy Whyment, who plays Kirk Sutherland on the show, replying in the comments to say: "Looking absolutely mega pal well done."

Brooke Vincent, or Sophie Webster as she's known to Corrie fans, added: "CRAIG TINKER'S GONNA HAVE GROUPEES VERY SOON."

As well as running, Colson joined a bootcamp back in February to help whip him into shape and it certainly seems to have done the trick.

Speaking about his recent healthy overhaul in an interview with Lorraine Kelly, Smith said: "It's all about keeping motivated, doing the right thing, trying to achieve something every day - that's kind of what I've said to myself. Making sure no day goes as a waste.

"In terms of the gym, I've kind of kept in touch with the gym I've been going to in Manchester because they're putting on lots of training programmes on their app.

"I've done the odd Joe Wicks PE, and then it's just making the most out of the situation."

But working out at home, doesn't come without his challenges, as he added: "I've been in the garden, I was doing a circuit the other day and I started getting chased by a wasp! It's just making the most of the situation."

Meanwhile, his on-screen persona has also been getting in shape after landing a job as a copper and finding out he was out of breath after chasing some shoplifters.
