Lewis Capaldi has had a laugh at his own expense after a Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? contestant admitted to having no clue who the singer was.
Capaldi, who's always keen to take the p*** out of himself, saw himself as a possible answer on the newly returned quiz show, and as usual showed himself no mercy.
Competing English teacher Clea Rawinksy was asked who released the album Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent.

Fans of the Scottish singer will know it was indeed Capaldi, but Clea was stumped by the question.
After using her 50/50, she was left with the options of Robbie Williams and Lewis Capaldi, while she confessed to host Jeremy Clarkson: "I don't even know who Lewis Capaldi is!"
Clarkson replied: "I hope he's watching."

And it seems as though he was, as shortly after the show went out, Capaldi took to Twitter to share it widely using a number of pretty hilarious captions.
First sharing the clip, he wrote:
He then re-shared it with the caption: "Dark fruits twitter every time someone mentions my name."

And then: "Me when I'm hungover and haven't showered on a flight and someone asks if I am who they think I am."
As well as: "Me looking at myself in the mirror having an existential crisis after a weekend on the booze."
He also joked - at least I assume it was a joke - that there would be 'I don't even know who Lewis Capaldi is' merch available soon.
In fact, he got so into he's since changed his Twitter name to 'i don't even know who lewis capaldi is'. Catchy.

Oh and in case you were wondering, Clea did eventually get the answer right - and presumably knows who Lewis Capaldi is now.
However, she ended up leaving with just £1,000 after slipping up on a later question and losing £31,000.
Ouch.
Still, at least she got to enjoy some viral fame thanks to Capaldi, eh?
