If you think the Clancy-Crouch household spend their days chatting about the Golden Boot or the Golden Ball, you'd be sadly mistaken - as it's a 'golden pill' which they are most concerned about.

According to the model, 38, it's her secret weapon which has saved their sex life after 13 years of marriage.

Unfortunately for Abbey Clancy, it's not some magic medicine which stops Peter Crouch, 43, busting out his iconic robot celebration left, right and centre, but it's at least given her libido a much-needed boost.

During a recent episode of the pair's The Therapy Crouch podcast, the mum-of-four opened up about the struggles she has faced with her sex drive as a result of her health anxiety.

Abbey has previously described herself as a 'huge worrier' who ends up 'scaring herself' after heading to Google to search up her symptoms, forcing her to turn to hypnotherapy to try and cope with it.

As she is 'always fighting battles' internally and just couldn't get herself to feel 'relaxed', the Liverpudlian admitted that it really impacted her and ex-England ace Peter's intimacy.

That was until one of her pals put her in the know about a 'golden pill' which has managed to turn their ailing activity in the bedroom on it's head.

Abbey explained: "I was talking to some of the girls, and you know, we’re all getting to a certain age, our hormones are all over the place.

"One of my friends told me about this golden pill. It’s an all-natural supplement for women which helps with an array of things. It’s been hailed as the female Viagra.

"He was like, ‘Look at it like a soldier going into battle - he's not going to be going into battle with a hard on’. I’m fighting battles all the time, so I’m not relaxed.

"So therefore the libido naturally would be decreased. Obviously this is not all the time."

Her and Peter - who share children Sophia, 13, Liberty, eight, Johnny, six, and Jack, four - then went on to reassure listeners that they are not complete prudes, but simply hit a dry spell.

On an earlier episode, the former Britain's Next Top Model presenter revealed that she walks around 'naked a lot' at home after the producer of their podcast pointed out that being starkers often makes things 'more fun'.

"It doesn't have to be sex," he added.

Peter then hilariously reminded his wife of a time that she cooked dinner for him in the nude, to which she responded: "I'm not prudish. I am naked a lot to be honest."

In contrast, the model said that her spouse makes a point of not being in his birthday suit if they're having a row.

Abbey giggled: "If we go to bed not speaking, Pete puts pyjamas on. I'm delighted. I'm like 'yes!'

"I actually call them the punishment pyjamas because it's like I'm not allowed to see his naked body as punishment. It's so funny."
