A number of comments have been made during the ongoing feud between Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty and his family.
The 31-year-old officially tied the knot with Holly Ramsay following their engagement announcement last September.
Peaty and Ramsay, daughter of celebrity chef Gordon, wed at Bath Abbey on Saturday (27 December), with a reported 200 guests attending the ceremony.
Ramsay's family and loved ones attended, including family friends David and Victoria Beckham along with most of their kids, but Peaty's invitations didn't extend to members of his family.

Instead, it was just his sister Bethany who was in attendance as one of Holly's bridesmaids at the wedding, with neither parents being invited.
Peaty's mum, Caroline, said in an interview this week that 'it’s as if they have cut my heart out' with the invitation snub, though this was just one of many exchanges made between the three-time Olympic gold medallist and his family.

Unhappy engagement party
Following the couple's engagement last Autumn, they hosted a party to which Peaty's parents and select family members were invited to, with no clear rift between the Team GB athlete and his mum and dad.
As reported by The Sun via an unnamed source, his family were present but things started to go downhill.
They told the publication: "His mum was unhappy some of the family weren’t there and confronted Gordon at the event. Guests were made to sign non-disclosure agreements and hand in phones as the party was filmed."
Adam Peaty addresses feud
The swimmer took to social media to address the ongoing feud with his family in November, highlighting that the couple 'do not ask for sympathy'.
"For those who know me personally, you know that I work so hard on trying to improve myself as a person who wants to contribute to making the world a better place," he began.
"I am continuing to learn about myself and how I can be the man I want to be; a worthy partner, father, businessman, friend and athlete; even through these challenging times. Bethany, Holly and I will get through this - we do not ask for sympathy."
Peaty went on: "We just need people to be aware that there are always two sides to every story. To those of you who have reached out and shown kindness and understanding - thank you. It is deeply appreciated."
His then-fiancée then shared the post online with her 400,000+ followers.

Peaty's mum responds
Caroline said that she had been struggling, telling her son: "I know it’s the end. But please, the message I want Adam to hear is no matter what happens in the future, please know I love you, your dad loves you, you can come home and talk to me at any point."
The mum added: "There's nothing you’ve done that I would not forgive. I love you so much. I hope your marriage is a good one, I don’t wish any ill on you and I want you and Holly to have a long and happy marriage. The reason I’m speaking out is I want all this to end."
She previously described the Ramsays as 'insular', claiming of her son: "He’s in Gordon’s clutches. I can’t help but feel like they are pulling him away from me."
Holly criticised for not inviting Adam's mum to hen do
Peaty's aunt, Louise Williams, sent a scathing message to Holly after she invited many women to her pre-wedding celebration, but not her future mother-in-law.
"@hollyramsayy I’m so glad that you had a great hen do," she said on Instagram.
"As a bride, you deserve that. However, as a person you were divisive and hurtful towards a woman, who I have loved and continue to love deeply.
"A woman who opened her home and heart to you. You decided, for whatever reason, not to invite her, your prospective mother-in-law to your hen night yet Adam invited his father-in-law, your dad, to his stag night."
She added: "You invited your mum (quite rightly) and even your mum’s assistant, your sisters, your friends, my niece, but not my sister, your future mother-in-law. I have also seen messages passing between her and Adam about this and other matters and, quite frankly, I expected better of you and definitely of Adam."
She then said that the pain they inflicted will 'take a very long time to heal, if ever'.
The news came as Peaty was escorted off a plane by uniformed police officers following his stag do in Budapest, with fears he could be assaulted as he received a number of 'increasingly threatening' texts while in Hungary.

Caroline's pre-wedding admission
The weekend of Peaty and Ramsay's wedding, Caroline's bombshell interview with the Daily Mail was released, as she opened up on the months of events preceding the event.
She claimed that her family is now 'broken' after a Christmas without her 'family together', saying: “I don’t think they understand how much they have hurt me; it’s as if they have cut my heart out.”
“Yes, I have my other children, but my family is split because of the goings on … because of the wedding,” she added.
Speaking of potentially attending the wedding anyway, the grandma admitted: “Me going would just cause even more of a storm and I don’t want to ruin his wedding day. I wanted to be there quietly to watch him get married, but that can’t happen now.”
She suggested that they might not 'value family as much as I have', sharing that Peaty's dad is 'fuming' and 'so hurt', though added that ‘Adam is genuinely in love with Holly’ which makes her ‘so happy’.
“I’ve not done this to ruin their wedding. It’s their wedding, yes, it’s a happy day – but it needs to be said,” she said, adding that there's 'nothing I won't forgive'.
Alleged scathing text from Peaty's family
After Caroline said that 'hurtful' text messages were exchanged with her son, it has since been reported that the groom was sent an emotional text message shortly before walking into Bath Abbey with his five-year-old son, George.
Written by his aunt Louise, the message allegedly said: "I hope you never suffer the depth of pain you have put your mother through and despite it all she loves you still. Shame on you both. Shame.
"Remember on this, your happiest day, and on each anniversary of your happiest day, that you hurt your mum so deeply her soul screams."
