Jennifer Aniston walked out on interview after discovering what Adam Sandler bought his Grown Ups co-stars

It's hard to believe that Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler have only worked on three films together, given their chemistry.

The pair famously starred in Just Go with It in 2011 and went on to feature together in Murder Mystery in 2019, followed by the sequel, Murder Mystery 2, which was released last year.

They've been open about their long-lasting friendship in the past as the Friends actor, 55, once called her co-star 'one of the kindest, most genuine people I know', while Sandler, 57, said she is 'as funny as she is professional'.

However, s**t seemingly hit the fan when Aniston found out what Sandler bought his Grown Ups co-stars.

Sandler - who starred in, co-wrote and produced Grown Ups (2010) and Grown Ups 2 (2013) - appeared alongside Aniston when the pair were out promoting Murder Mystery 2, during an interview with USA Today in 2023.

Journalist Erin Jensen asked what the deal was with the expensive leaving presents that Sandler bought for his Grown Ups cast mates.

For context, Sandler reportedly bought co-stars David Spade, Kevin James, Chris Rock and Rob Schneider a Maserati each, estimated to be worth about $200,000 (about £130,000 at the time).

Aniston was stunned, as she asked her mate: "You gave your co-stars Maseratis?" Before storming off the set, jokingly, of course.

Sandler was pretty lost for words and began rambling, recalling Aniston saying she didn't 'need fancy things'.

He then claimed that he bought his co-star a supercar for working with him.

Well, on the big purchase, Spade previously said in an interview: "He gave us all a Maserati.

"Chris Rock called me and he goes, 'Will you look in your driveway?', and I go, 'No,' and he goes, 'Got out front and call me.'

"So I go out front and they're putting a car in my driveway, and I go, 'What's happening?', and they go, 'Adam Sandler.'

"I go, 'Oh, is this his car, I'm supposed to watch it?'"

He continued: "I call Rock and I go, 'I'm keeping Adam's car here for some reason,' and he goes, 'No that's for you, we all got one'."

Meanwhile, Rock said in an interview on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno back in 2010: "I went outside the other day and I had a new Maserati in the driveway. Now I think that I'm Adam Sandler's b****."
