Alison Hammond wants judgemental people to ‘mind your business’ when it comes to her relationship with David Putman.
The This Morning presenter, 51, has reportedly been with the Russian model, 29, since 2023, and their 22-year age gap has been met with some trolling online.
They reportedly met when Putman, a massage therapist, was booked in to give Hammond a treatment.
Hammond has consistently defended their relationship, and in a new interview with Attitude Magazine, she says ‘people spend far too much time worrying about other people’s relationships’.

“If two consenting adults are happy, loved, respected and making each other laugh, what exactly is the problem? People will always have an opinion,” the TV host said.
“I’ve learned that you can’t live your life according to everybody else’s opinions because you’ll end up exhausted and miserable. Love who you love.”

When asked how she feels about being labelled a ‘cougar’, Hammond admitted that ‘it depends who’s saying it and how they’re saying it’.
“Sometimes I think it’s funny. Sometimes I think, ‘Darling, I’m not a cougar. I’m a whole safari!’ But there is definitely a double standard,” she explained.
“A man dates a younger woman and everyone goes, ‘Good for him’. A woman dates a younger man and suddenly she’s been given a wildlife classification. Let women enjoy themselves!”

Hammond noted that an important part of their relationship is that they are able to share a laugh together.
“I love that we can make each other laugh,” she said.
“That’s the big thing for me. Life is too short to be in a relationship where you can’t laugh together.
“We’re different in lots of ways, but sometimes those differences are exactly what makes it interesting.
“And let’s be honest, I bring the life experience and he brings the youth. It’s basically a human multi-generational home!”

It comes after Hammond feared she was having a heart attack on air when she was forced off This Morning midway through the programme earlier this month.
After appearing to clutch her chest as she left the show, she was taken to hospital and doctors told her that she'd suffered a panic attack.
Returning for her weekly slot, she told viewers: "I couldn't catch my breath and I genuinely thought I was having a heart attack. I'm so glad I'm here. I feel so grateful. I feel so thankful to God, to everything in life."
