Shocking amount of money Amanda Bynes could rake in per week after starting OnlyFans

Seems like a pretty simple side hustle to be honest

I’ll be honest, texting people back when you’ve suddenly had a load of different chats kick off sometimes seems like a chore.

But I’d certainly be messaging everyone back in a hurry if I was getting paid for it.

And in a pretty unique side hustle move, that’s essentially what Amanda Bynes is now doing – only, all of her messages are on OnlyFans.

The former child star recently announced that she’s joined the subscription-based platform, but not for posting ‘any sleazy content’.

Instead, the 39-year-old explained: “Disclaimer: I’m doing OnlyFans to chat with my fans through dm’s.”

By replying to those messages from paid subscribers, it seems Bynes could rake in a shocking amount of money per week. Although, she’ll still really need a lot to catch up with some other celebrity accounts.

With the She’s the Man star saying she was ‘excited to join’ the platform, her fans will have to splash out $50 (£38) a month for the privilege of these direct chats.

And it seems there could be a large number of people genuinely interested in this.

A ‘sexologist’ and OnlyFans creator explained Byne’s plan could be ‘lucrative for her’ as she is likely to attract both a male and ‘large female following’.

“I grew up watching All That when she was on it and having a favourite star from your childhood suddenly available to chat is quite an interesting idea,” Dr Tiffany Chan told DailyMail.com.

“I think there is a large amount of curiosity that will play into an initial flood of fans eager to chat with her.”

While she says it’s difficult to estimate an exact amount Bynes might make on OnlyFans, she reckons it could be five figures a week thanks to her star status.

“Likely even more given her popularity,” the creator added.

Dr Chan also noted that there seems to be ‘a rising trend in SFW [safe for work] OnlyFans’ accounts which seems to be the way Bynes is going.

The former Nickelodeon star set up her account with just two mirror selfies on her page; one in a black sports bra and joggers and the other more dressed up in a butter-yellow outfit with hair accessories.

Since she announced her indefinite hiatus from acting in 2010, Bynes has had a variety of gigs.

She graduated from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in 2019, tried out podcasting and sought out her manicurist license.

And now she’s getting paid to reply to people’s messages – maybe I’ll start charging my friends if they expect an on the day response.
