Benny Blanco’s feet are leaving people seriously ‘disgusted’

As many of us were starting our day with a doom scroll this morning (25 February), there were audible gags and chokes on coffee as a screenshot of Benny Blanco filled up timelines.

Well, I’m not going to be ignorant to the fact that some people are well into it – good for you. But plenty have been left ‘disgusted’ as snaps of the music producer’s bare feet have gone viral.

Blanco launched a new podcast, Friends Keep Secrets, yesterday with best mates Lil Dicky and Kristin Batalucco. And rather than whatever the three discussed while they hung out isn’t being discussed as much as the appearance of his feet on the sofa.

Having let one rip to see if the mic could pick it up, the habits of the husband of Selena Gomez have become quite the talking point.

Stretched out on the sofa at his friends’ home, Blanco’s bare feet appear pretty dirty with a dark layer covering the base. It almost looks as if he’s been walking through dry soil or a dust-covered wooden floor.

And unsurprisingly, social media has had a field day with it.

“Please let this be AI,” one wrote in response to a close up of his trotters.

Another joked: “I wish I could go back to the person I was before I saw this.”

Others simply called it ‘diabolical’ and ‘super weird’.

“Absolutely heinous,” one dramatically slammed as many continued the joke: “Chat is this real or AI help.”

“That’s a week old dirt under his feet,” another put with a vomiting emoji.

“I’m gonna throw up,” one simply said.

One post that probably best sums up the general reaction reads: "not even a minute into this benny podcast and am in complete disbelief..."

An image of his bare dusty tootsies has already made its way onto WikiFeet with Blanco currently having a score of 3.18 out of 5 stars based on just over 90 votes.

And this dirty feet on the sofa on camera debacle isn't the first time he's gone viral for his hygiene habits.

He previously spoke to People about how he is 'really clean' but doesn't 'shower everyday'.

"But some people I know shower two, three times a day, but I feel like the oils on your skin don't have time to rejuvenate and get juicy," Blanco said.

"I want there to be an aroma as I'm walking by. I want it to smell a little bit like man, a little bit feminine. I definitely lean, I think, a little more feminine in every sense."
