Even when we’d all thought it had run out of steam, the drama between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni keeps rumbling on.

In the latest update, newly released court documents show exchanges between the Gossip Girl star and a number of famous faces ahead of oral arguments tomorrow (22 January).

Seemingly ever-present in pop culture, Taylor Swift is included in that mix as she calls Baldoni a ‘b**ch’ while Matt Damon’s wife, Lucy, refers to the director as a ‘creep’.

And where there’s Damon, there’s Ben Affleck, it seems, as Lively sent an almost fan-mail-esque email to him.

This is all coming out, of course, as Baldoni and the actor have been entangled in lawsuits following the release of It Ends With Us. A number of claims have been made on both sides including Lively accusing him of sexual harassment on set which he denies.

And it appears that ahead of the film’s release, Lively was appealing to famous pals to have a watch of her edit of the film to get their notes and advice.

Addressing Affleck for this, she wrote: “Ben, It’s Blake. Don’t hang up.”

She went on to say that she had a ‘zero pressure ask’ for the star after piling on praise.

“I've just come out the other side (well almost) of the most upsetting experience I've ever had on a movie," Lively said.

“The making of doc of this film would be more interesting than the movie could ever be. It's like if Wild Wild country, Fyre Festival and Going Clear had a baby with The Room ...”

The actor went on to say she ‘ended up rewriting and restricting the entire script’ as she referred to the ‘director’ Baldoni as a ‘chaotic clown’.

Lively alleged that ‘he and everyone he had on the movie is in a cult’.

“Anyway, now I'm in a bake off with him in the edit,” she continued. “He's been editing since, I kid you not, July, and they gave me 10 days to do my own pass. We have a bake off in 12 days. But I have a friends and family preview in NY on Saturday in the meantime so I can get one round of notes or feedback before we duke it out.”

She requested that if he had the time and would be willing to, to give the film a watch and give her ‘any ideas or notes’.

“Again, zero pressure. I just really want this to work after all I've put into it. This movie nearly killed me,” Lively continued. “And I can think of very few people who would be as prescriptive and insightful as I know you would be.

“Ryan [Reynolds] asked Matt [Damon] to watch also so I think he's watching this weekend. Good men showing up. I'm beyond grateful for that.”

She then joked: “Can you believe Jason Bourne is watching my movie!?!?! I'll get you an autograph one day. Don't worry.”

Signing off as ‘B’87’, Lively added: “If you're still reading this, whoa. You're not nearly as busy as you think. or you're a very nice person.”
