Britney Spears has addressed her decision not to have another show in the US.
The pop star was one of the biggest names in the entertainment industry at the turn of the millennium with hits like '...Baby One More Time' and 'Oops!...I Did It Again'.
Spears was on top of the world, having been in the public spotlight since she was a child.
It meant that her team would sometimes be forced to create narratives about her to avoid more scrutiny, such as the rumour that she was a virgin in her 20s.

Now 44, the mum-of-two has opened up a lot about her turbulent years as a young adult dealing with fame and constant scrutiny in the 2000s.
Spears is known for putting up a number of unusual posts on her Instagram page, but she has recently made a bold claim about any future shows she may have planned.
Posting a snap of her sitting by a white piano on stage, she wrote: "Sending this piano to my son this year!!! Interestingly enough, I dance on IG to heal things in my body that people have no idea about.
"Yup and it’s embarrassing sometimes… but I walked through the fire to save my life…"

She then claimed: "I will never perform in the U.S. again because of extremely sensitive reasons but I hope to be sitting on a stool with a red rose in my hair, in a bun, performing with my son… in the UK and AUSTRALIA very soon.
"He’s a huge star and I’m so humbled to be in his presence!!! God speed, little man!!!"
It spells bad news for her fans in the US, who may be forced to travel across the pond for a glimpse of the 'Toxic' star's performances.
Spears would often push herself to the limit during shows in the past, memorably performing with a snake wrapped around her while on stage.
The artist didn't specify which of her sons would receive the instrument, as she has two children with her ex-husband Kevin Federline.

While fans aren't sure if it will be Jayden, 19, or Preston, 20, past posts may hint towards the former.
Spears called Jayden a 'genius' in a post from March last year, where he was playing the piano, as she wrote: “I’m in awe of him,
“I can’t believe he’s mine!!! I was honestly scared that’s not normal!!!”
