The cynic in me thinks that some of the celebrity drama we see online is made up to keep the media spotlight on them, but Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz may well be unfortunate victims of 'fake news' right now.
We're living in an age where shocking revelations and surprising twists in the lives of celebrities often make the front page, so who can blame those involved for potentially hyperbolising their lives to keep the followers coming.
But it seems as if Nicola and Brooklyn are keen to play down the rumours they're seeing online, as they've addressed life in the media spotlight in a new interview.

As the first-born child of Victoria and David Beckham, Brooklyn has been in the limelight for much of his life and despite what appears to be an extremely healthy partnership with his wife Nicola, both have been coming under fire in recent weeks.
Rumours of a family fallout have been rife since the two missed dad David's 50th birthday celebrations in London last month, with the likes of Gordon Ramsay, Gary Neville and Tom Cruise showing up.

While David sent an emotional public message to Brooklyn in that aftermath, the reason why he wasn't able to attend still remains unclear. Some reports allege the duo have refused to attend any event that features Romeo Beckham's current girlfriend, Kim Turnbull, as she's rumoured to have previously dated one of Brooklyn's close friends.
Other media reports claim that Nicola and Victoria don't get along, with some claiming that Brooklyn's mum made the actress cry on her wedding day after seemingly 'stealing' the first dance with her son.

But in a new interview, the married couple have suggested that they are simply ignoring any outside noise to do with them and their family.

Speaking to Glamour, Brooklyn and Nicola were asked how they protect their relationship in such a public spotlight.
Brooklyn said: "Ignore the noise. Keep your head down, work hard, be kind. People are always going to talk. What matters is that we’re happy together.
Nicola added: "It’s not always easy. On TikTok there are always random stories popping up about us. When I see fake news, my instinct is to shut it down. But it’s not worth it. I just scroll past and move on."

While some people online have strong opinions about celebrities and their relationships, it's clear that the two are happy together, despite any alleged drama in the wider Beckham family.
Nicola explained: "My parents always said, 'When you meet the right person, you’ll just know.' As a kid I was like, What does that even mean? But it’s real. It’s this calm feeling, a sense of safety that takes over your whole body. I’d never felt that before.
Brooklyn added: "You should marry your best friend. Someone who feels like home. For me, that’s Nicola."
