And in the new Disney+ doc, Christine investigates the truth about her daughter’s final months to reveal an ‘unprecedented look at what really happened’ to Caroline.
The mother opens up about her ‘biggest regret’ about the tragedy while uncovering ‘the hidden pressures that pushed her daughter to breaking point’.
And included in the ‘shocking details’ and darker truths being highlighted by the documentary, are never-before-heard-or-seen messages from Caroline to those closest to her at the time.
In the trailer, Christine says: “Her phones tell the real story,” as she explains there is ‘so much information’ the public haven’t seen when it comes to what happened to her daughter.
One text sent by the Love Island host to her friend reads: “Mollie I feel the lowest I’ve ever felt.
“I don’t see any way out of this.”
And a harrowing voice note from Caroline features her in tears, saying: “I’m just really – I’m all over the place. My head doesn’t know what to think at any point.”
Other heartbreaking texts include: “My life is over,” and, “I’m having a big panic attack,” as well as: “It’s unreal. I’m not gonna survive this.”

Harrowingly, the trailer ends with another voice note as Caroline says: “I think I should make a documentary about all of this. What do you think?”
Christine has said she thinks her daughter would be ‘pleased’ with the investigation she has been doing, as she works to uncover ‘the hidden pressures that pushed her daughter to breaking point - revealing a darker truth the headlines never told’.
“I wish I'd done it then, before she took her own life, and that's my biggest regret,” the mother said. “That I wasn't shouting like this, then. But now, I've got nothing to lose, the worst thing in the world happened, with losing Caroline.”
The Original two-part documentary premieres Monday 10 November, exclusively on Disney+ in the UK & Ireland.
