David Beckham shows cameras room where he sees ‘Victoria naked in the top window’ during documentary

David Beckham joked with Netflix documentary filmmakers about seeing his wife Victoria naked in an upstairs window of his mansion during shooting for Beckham.

The documentary series tells the story of the family, Victoria and David’s relationship over the years, and – of course – David’s remarkable career in football.

However, another of the interesting things that it offers is a glimpse into how the celebrity family live, including a rare look at their palatial home.

The mansion, in the Gloucestershire Cotswolds, has huge grounds that even feature a lake, as well as a football pitch, a safari tent – whatever that is – and sauna.

The couple bought the property for £6,000,000 in 2017, having previously lived in a Hertfordshire mansion nicknamed ‘Beckingham Palace’ as well as in Paris, Milan, and Los Angeles.

They don’t have it too bad, in short.

In the third episode of the four-part documentary series, Beckham showed off the grounds of his estate, sitting around at his garden table and chatting with the film crew.

Then, he made a revelation about why he likes sitting in that particular spot.

The former Manchester United and Real Madrid star joked: "It's my favourite view of the house. I can also see Victoria if she's naked in the top window."

Well, if you own a big house with private grounds, you can probably afford to be a big cavalier with wearing clothes about the house.

Just hope that the paparazzi haven’t got their long lenses out in a vantage point, though.

Elsewhere in the documentary, the Beckhams discussed the dark days of their relationship, including when David was alleged to have had an affair back in the mid-2000s.

Obviously, these were incredibly challenging times for both, but particularly for Victoria.

She told the filmmakers: “It was the hardest period because it felt like the world was against us. Here’s the thing — we were against each other if I’m being completely honest.

“You know, up until Madrid sometimes it felt like us against everybody else but we were together, we were connected, we had each other.

“But when we were in Spain, it didn’t really feel like we had each other either.

“And that’s sad. I can’t even begin to tell you how hard it was and how it affected me. It was a nightmare.

“It was an absolute circus — and everyone loves it when the circus comes to town right? Unless you’re in it.”

She admitted that she ‘resented’ David during this time, whilst David remarked on how hurtful a lot of the stories about the alleged affair were.

He said: “There was some horrible stories which were difficult to deal with. It was the first time that me and Victoria had been put under that kind of pressure in our marriage.

"Every time that we woke up we felt, you know, there was something else and you know we felt that, we both felt at the time that we were not losing each other but drowning.

"But ultimately it’s our private life.

“There were some days I thought, ‘How am I going to go to work? How am I going to go on that training pitch and look as if nothing is wrong?’

“I felt physically sick every day when I opened my eyes. How am I going to do this?”
