A reason has emerged over why Brooklyn Beckham has blocked his parents on social media.
There was a bit of a twist in the ongoing family feud over the weekend, following initial reports that David and Victoria had unfollowed their eldest child on Instagram.
However, their youngest son, Cruz, couldn’t hold back from speaking out on it as he decided to share the 'truth' on his Instagram Stories.
Reports of a rift between Brooklyn and his family have been going on for quite some time now, but it does seem to have ramped up a notch this year, with the 26-year-old missing out on his dad’s big 50th birthday celebrations.

This is thought to have started in the build-up to his marriage to wife Nicola Peltz in 2022, and in the summer, his parents were absent from their vow renewals.

Still, David and Victoria unfollowing their son on Instagram did seem like a brutal move, even if it had already been reported that brothers Cruz and Romeo had done so months ago.
And it does seem too brutal to be true.
Cruz shared a screenshot of a Daily Mail headline making the claim as he wrote on his Instagram Stories: “NOT TRUE.”
The 20-year-old said his parents would ‘never unfollow their son’.
“Let’s get the facts right. They woke up blocked…” he continued. “As did I.”

And people are now trying to piece together just what may have led Brooklyn to do something as drastic as reportedly blocking his closest family members on Instagram.
It’s thought that it came as a result of Victoria commenting on one of her son’s infamous cooking videos on the platform.
Posh Spice is said to have shown her support on his video about beer-brining a chicken.
And this then led to a flood of comments aimed at Brooklyn, urging him to reconnect and build bridges with his famous family, pointing out Victoria's approval.
"Victoria liked this post. Yay!!! Family is everything," one user wrote as others added: "Speak to your parents - only one life and it is very precious."

He’s then thought to have gotten pretty miffed at this bit of public display of support and connection, so blocked his family to cut it out.
But, who knows really, families are families, I guess.
Several months ago, Brooklyn and Nicola said they protect their relationship by ‘ignoring the noise’, as she added to Glamour: “It’s not always easy. On TikTok there are always random stories popping up about us. When I see fake news, my instinct is to shut it down.
"But it’s not worth it. I just scroll past and move on."
LADbible Group has contacted the reps of Brooklyn, Nicola, David and Victoria for comment.
