Many stars of Gogglebox past and present will always be national treasures in my eyes.
Especially the OG duo Sandi Bogle and Sandra Martin.
And the former Goggleboxer Sandra has been left heartbroken this week as she announced a sad loss.

Sandra took to X to announce the death of her sister, Jennifer Richards, earlier this week (25 September).
The Londoner shared snaps of herself with Jennifer, writing: âLOVEYAJEN.
âMy sister Jennifer Richards has passed away⌠I love you Jen.â
She also shared another photo of the two sisters together writing âMISS YOUâ and: âR.I.P JENNIFER RICHARDS.â
Sandra later shared the details of Jenniferâs memorial, inviting people to mark her life in London.

The former Gogglebox star was flooded with support from friends and fans, who sent âcondolencesâ and said âsorry for your lossâ.
One wrote: âSo sorry for your loss what a beautiful soul rest in paradise beautiful.â
And another put: âSo sorry to hear another loss in your family.â
Sandra has had a difficult few years of losing her loved ones.
During the Covid-19 pandemic, the star shared sheâd lost five people close to her.
Back in April 2020, she shared a video to social media, breaking down as she announced her sister-in-lawâs daughter sadly passed away.
Tragedy continued to strike for Sandra as she also lost a friend, a friendâs dad, her sister-in-law and uncle during the pandemic.
She explained to Metro.co.uk at the time that her sister-in-law had underlying health issues.

âWhen I found out I started to cry and my daughter told me to pack my bags so I am staying with her in Brixton at the moment,â she shared.
âMy friendâs dad died first, then my brotherâs wife died, my uncle died and my good friend from Brixton died, it is all so tragic. What is going on?â
Sandra first appeared on our screens in the very first season of Gogglebox on Channel 4, way back in 2013.
She was paired up with her bestie, Sandi, until she left the popular show in 2016.
Sandra stayed on, joined by her daughter Chanchez Martin but then left the series two years later.
She confirmed her departure during a This Morning interview, where she said sheâd miss Gogglebox but âdecided at the time I wanted to move on to other thingsâ.
She expressed some regret about cutting her journey on the show short and told The Sun: âI couldâve stayed, they offered me real money, but s**t happens.â
