Actor Chad Lowe has posted a touching tribute to his 13-year-old daughter after she sadly passed away one week ago.
The 58-year-old took to his Instagram Stories in his first public post following the death of Fiona on 29 September.
Lowe and his wife Kim Painter announced the tragic news of her passing in a family statement, which read: “We are deeply heartbroken by the loss of our beloved Fiona. She was a loving young girl who was smart, creative and loved to dance.

“She was adored by her sisters and she was deeply loved by her parents. In fact, she was the light of our lives.
"Her passing is devastating for our entire family and we ask for prayers and privacy at this time. If you or someone you know is struggling with mental health, please reach out to the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988."

After the statement was shared, Lowe took a break from social media, until yesterday, when he came back with a tribute to losing someone.
The message featured a clip of Irish author Gerry Hussey discussing grief and spirituality during his appearance on Olivia Hunt’s On Healing podcast.
Lowe posted the video on 8 October, which saw Hussey say in 2025: “We both possess the human and the divine. We are connected to everything that is. It just makes sense, and there’s nothing there but peace and love.”
He continued: “So when we die, where do we go? We return to a state of peace and love.”

Previously, Mabel Lowe, Fiona's elder sister, shared a tribute to her sister on social media.
In a post on her Instagram page, Mabel shared several pictures of Fiona, and wrote of her: "I love you so much fiona. i wish your short time here was easier and i hope your mind is at ease now.
"I will honor you forever and keep your memory alive. I love you, i hope you knew just how much."
While much isn’t known about Fiona’s tragic death, according to a report from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner, Fiona was pronounced dead at 1.14am on 29 September at a hospital and it is thought to have included no foul play.
