The mum of an 11-year-old girl who was 'left in tears' by Chappell Roan has hit back at the singer after their brief interaction in Brazil.

Roan, whose real name is Kayleigh Rose Amstutz, is one of the biggest pop stars in the world right now, but in a bizarre meeting of two different worlds, was called out by former Premier League star Jorginho last weekend.

The Brazilian footballer claimed his stepdaughter, Ada, was left extremely upset following an alleged meeting with a security guard believed to be looking after the musician.

His stepdaughter, whose father is Jude Law, supposedly approached Roan at the hotel where they were both staying simply to check if it was 'really her', before being reprimanded by a security guard.

In her Instagram Story, Roan said she 'didn't even see a woman and a child' while sitting for breakfast in her hotel and that the security guard wasn't working for her.

She also apologised to the mother and child, saying they 'did not deserve that'.

Now, the young girl's mother, Catherine Harding, has taken to social media to have her say on the reported exchange.

She said: "I know that Chappell has responded, saying that 'It wasn't her security and that she didn't do it' well, 100 per cent this wasn't a security guard of the hotel, that's what I can say, he looks after artists.

"Now I don't know if he's her personal security guard but he was with her, so that is all I know, did she send him to do it? Again, I don't know, I would like to hope not.

"But at the same time, you have a responsibility when you are a celebrity that the people who work for you and act on your behalf are acting on your behalf.

"So would he do that if he didn't have her authority? I don't know. If he does, thats a big problem. because then he is representing her in a way she doesn't want to be represented."

Harding suggests that her daughter 'didn't do anything', only looking at the artist without taking a photo, before the 'very aggressive' and 'intimidating' security guard approached to 'berate and scold' them while they were eating.

She claimed she'd told the security guard that her daughter is used to being around celebrities because of her parents' professions, after he supposedly said her daughter was 'badly educated', and they had a right to walk around the hotel as paying guests.

She adds: "I hope [Chappell] did not know, I hope she did not send her security over to do this. I really think she is a very, very talented artist. We liked her a lot, we came all the way to São Paulo to watch her show.

"It was her birthday present, she asked for tickets, it was a little bit ruined because we didn't go to the show last night but that's how it is."

She concluded: "I hope that maybe if it wasn't her that maybe she learns not to allow the people who work for her not to treat people like this."

The 'Good Luck Babe' singer has since been banned from iconic music attraction Todo Mundo, according to the Mayor of Rio de Janeiro, after Jorginho threatened to make a complaint on his social media post.

LADbible has previously contacted Chappell Roan's representatives for comment.
