Cole Sprouse has reacted after his brother Dylan made a ‘weird’ discovery about his family’s history.
After Dylan labelled them ‘children of incest’ on Tuesday’s episode of the Wildmen podcast, Cole, 34, shared what he called a ‘clickbait headline’ on his Instagram story.
“No media training on earth can prep you to read this clickbait headline at 10am,” the twin-brother penned.
While The Suite Life of Zack & Cody stars are not the product of immediate incest, Dylan, 34, used the phrase to describe a their tangled family tree.

After researching their ancestry on Ancestry.com, Dylan discovered that both sides of their family tree intersected generations ago.
Relatives from both their maternal and paternal lines originally intermarried in California during the Gold Rush in the 1800s.

Their parents had no idea they shared distant ancestral ties, and because the relation is from generations ago, it does not constitute literal or modern incest.
“When I first took it, my actual breakdown of history was very different than it is now,” Dylan explained.
“I’ve found a lot of family members, weirdly, who I never met, because my dad’s side of the family is pretty fractured. I started to talk to them, compare and contrast.
“And then, they diverged, and then they married again [through] my mom and my dad, like, last generation."

Dylan dug a little deeper and ‘started to get suspicious’ after finding out that his father’s uncles were also identical twins.
He said: “I’d only ever thought that identical twins or twins in general came from my mom’s side of the family. We had seven sets of twins in four generations,” Dylan said, adding he realized it was ‘because it’s the same family!’”
“A lot of stuff started to make sense,” he continued.

“One of my aunts was a twin, but she was one of the twins who ate her twin in the womb, and when they cut open a cyst in her shoulder, it had teeth and hair.
“Long story short, Cole and I are children of incest.”
Dylan and Cole rose to fame after starring as twin brothers Zack and Cody Martin across the Suite Life franchise from 2005 to 2011.
The Suite Life of Zack & Cody aired on the Disney Channel for three seasons and 87 episodes, while The Suite Life on Deck consisted of 71 episodes,
