Conor Maynard has taken a second paternity test with the result leaving Charlotte Chilton ‘shellshocked’.
There has been bit of a long-running battle between the signer and The Traitors star after she claimed he was the father of her baby in 2024.
Chilton and Maynard were introduced to each other at the wrap party for the hit BBC show by winner Harry Clark, who is dating the singer’s younger sister, Anna.
Finding out she was pregnant following their night together, the TV contestant has repeatedly claimed he is the father of her child.

She had initially chosen not to reveal his identity but went on to say she didn’t want it to be a ‘dirty secret’ and publicly named Maynard as the dad. He held back from addressing the speculation until after the results of the first paternity test.

Chilton gave birth to her daughter, Penelope, in the October and in March, the singer spoke out to say a paternity test had confirmed he was not the father.
But she then requested it be retaken after it was suggested an ‘unidentified male’ was present when his sample was collected, throwing doubt over the result.
And with a second paternity test carried out, it has now been confirmed that Maynard is not Penelope’s dad, reports The Sun.

It’s said the pair were swabbed earlier this week and were emailed the results last night (21 August).
A source told the outlet: “Charlotte is shell-shocked by the news. She has been fighting for the truth to come out for the past 18 months during an already difficult time as a first-time single mum.
“It’s never been about the fact Conor is in the public eye or has money behind him. Charlotte had no intention of ‘trapping’ him. It’s always been about having Penny’s father’s name on the birth certificate. Her little girl deserves that.
“She’s reeling from the result and is now considering where she goes from here.”

Maynard is yet to publicly comment on this new result but a spokesperson said of agreeing to the second test it was hoped: “Charlotte can finally put this behind her once and for all.”
Speaking out following the first test earlier this year, Maynard said during an appearance on This Morning: “I was instantly painted as a dead-beat dad. My comments on my social media were all about that.
"When the result came in I can't even begin to explain to you the feeling."
Chilton’s reps said in a statement: “For those of you have followed Charlotte’s journey since her appearance on BBC’s The Traitors, will know she has fought an extraordinary battle for truth and justice with heartfelt conviction.
“We are forever grateful to everyone who has shown unwavering love and support to Charlotte over the past 12 months.”
