Cruz Beckham's new dog Sandy is welcomed into the fold in adorable snaps

The Beckham brood has just got bigger as Cruz and partner Jackie Apostel have just introduced a new addition in the form of puppy Sandy.

Cruz, 21, and 30-year-old Jackie, announced their new pet, which appears to be a light-coloured Golden Retriever, on social media.

In a post shared across both their Instagram accounts, the couple can be seen lying on a fluffy blanket with the pup in the middle alongside the caption: “Sandy Jean Beckham.”

In another post, a very sleepy-looking Sandy can be seen lying on the floor while Cruz pats her head and strokes her back.

The couple have even made Sandy her very own Instagram, which has quickly amassed more than 4,500 followers.

The adorable account documents Sandy’s first few days with the family, including meeting her new ‘grandad’ David Beckham.

“Grandad is gonna teach me how to bend it like Sandy,” a caption reads alongside a sweet shot of the pup resting her head on David’s shoulder.

Cruz’s sister Harper has also been called in for pup-sitting duties, with a post revealing that she took Sandy out for a walk and she ‘peed everywhere’, well better outdoors than inside, right?

In another clip, Sandy can be seen chowing down on a chew toy as one fan warned: “She’s definitely going to restyle a VB heel.”

Taking on Sandy is a major milestone for Cruz and Jackie’s relationship.

Cruz and the Brazilian songwriter were first rumored to be dating after they were snapped together at Glastonbury in June 2024 and then seen out and about on several cosy dates in London shortly after.

The couple then confirmed their relationship in October as they both shared posts marking Jackie’s 29th birthday.

Jackie has since told fans that she met Cruz in the recording studio and initially hit it off as pals.

In a post on her Instagram Stories promoting his new track, she said: “We first met when we were put into a studio by our managers to write some songs together, work became friendship and friendship became us.”

Jackie has previously said that while she has released songs as an artists, she prefers being behind the scenes.

In 2022, she wrote on Instagram: “My intention was and has never been to become a recording, touring artist. I’m a studio rat, I’m a creator, I’m a writer, a producer and an artist in many ways, but releasing the songs we did myself was always just a way of showcasing the tracks.”

Meanwhile, Cruz has followed in the footsteps of his Spice Girl mum Victoria and has also gone into the music industry.

Back in June, Cruz launched his new EP Wear & Tear and spent parts of the year putting on shows.

Just last month, Cruz teased that he’d managed to get ‘Posh back in the studio’ as he shared a behind-the-scenes snap of himself in the recording studio while his mum could be seen singing away in the background.

Neither of them has revealed what they’ve been working on, but Victoria did comment on the photo with a string of laughing emojis.
