After years of rumours and speculation, the ongoing feud between Brooklyn Peltz Beckham and the Beckham family appears to have come to a head.
There has been talk of a rift between the eldest son and his parents, Victoria and David Beckham, since he wed billionaire heiress Nicola Peltz Beckham back in 2022. Despite the reports, the families have spent much of the last three years trying to quash rumours of their alleged feud, by appearing at events together and posing on Instagram.
That was until the end of 2025, when Cruz Beckham, the youngest brother, appeared to confirm all the reports had been true as he announced both he and his parents had been blocked by Brooklyn on social media.
Let's take a little walk down memory lane and see where it all began...

Brooklyn and Nicola get married
On 9 April, 2022, Brooklyn and Nicola tied the knot at her family's estate in Palm Beach, Florida, just under two years after becoming engaged. The pair had agreed to marry in July 2020 after dating for just six months, with Nicola admitting Brooklyn had bought the ring three months prior.
"I knew after three months that I wanted to marry her. I always knew I wanted to marry young — and when I met Nicola, I was just sure," he told Glamour US at the time. "But with COVID, I waited until our families could be part of it."
'Cold war' between Nicola and Victoria
By August 2022, media sources were starting to report on a 'full on cold war' between Nicola and her new mum-in-law Victoria. According to Page Six, 'the build-up to the wedding was horrendous' and they 'can’t stand each other and don’t talk.'

Victoria is also said to have been aggrieved at the pair posing on a magazine cover which called Nicola 'the new Mrs Beckham'.
Around this time, reports also claimed much of the feud came from Nicola's decision to wear a Valentino wedding dress instead of a piece designed by Victoria's fashion house, but they appeared to quash these rumours.

“I was going to [wear Victoria Beckham] and I really wanted to, and then a few months down the line, she realised that her atelier couldn’t do it, so then I had to pick another dress,” Nicola told Variety at the time.
“She didn’t say 'you can’t wear it'; I didn’t say I didn’t want to wear it. That’s where it started, and then they ran with that.”
Nelson Peltz's lawsuit
In February 2023, it was revealed Nicola's dad Nelson Peltz had filed a lawsuit against two of the wedding planners who briefly took on the role after the initial planners stepped down.

Nicole Braghin and Arianna Grijalba were hired just six weeks before the wedding, but were let go after just nine days and Nelson claims he didn't get his $159,000 deposit back. The wedding planners filed a countersuit against the billionaire, claiming a breach of contract.
Cosy Instagram posts together
By March 2023, all rumours of a feud seem quashed as the whole family appeared at Victoria's Parish fashion show.
Victoria shared a heartfelt Instagram post, tagging both Brooklyn and Nicola, as well as the rest of the family, writing: "I couldn’t do it without you, I love you all so much."
In February the following year, Victoria posted another snap of just herself and Nicola posing in a mirror, with the caption: "Pre-show prep and fittings in Paris!! Kisses."

By December 2024, Brooklyn and his wife were spending 'Chrismukkah' with the Beckhams, appearing as all is well.
Party snubs and a rift resurfacing
In March 2025, it was reported Brooklyn and Nicola had snubbed David's 50th birthday party at Cipriani Downtown Miami.
Just days later, TMZ claims Brooklyn and brother Romeo weren't speaking due to a fallout over Romeo's girlfriend, Kim Turnbull, who had a 'romantic connection' with Brooklyn 'several years ago.'

Brooklyn is believed to have raised concerns over Kim's intentions towards his little brother.
Later that week, however, Cruz Beckham weighed in on the debate, insisting 'Brooklyn and Kim never dated.'
In May, David's birthday celebrations continued and Brooklyn and Nicola were nowhere to be seen, with reports there were 'tensions between Brooklyn and Nicola and the family'.
"The relationship is definitely not beyond repair," a source told People. "They love and are always there for him. They’re just hurt and disappointed that he’s now playing no part in family life."
In June 2025, a source told the same publication that Brooklyn had refused to go to his dad's birthday celebrations because Kim was invited.
"Brooklyn didn't want to be in the same room as her, and he told his dad that, but David opted to have Kim there over Nicola," the source said at the time.
“Brooklyn and Kim know each other from the past, and his family knows he's not comfortable around her.”
After that story broke, Kim took to her Instagram story to deny ever having any involvement with Brooklyn, other than 'a school friendship at age 16.'

Unfollowing each other on social media
In July 2025, Brooklyn and Nicola unfollowed Romeo and Cruz and vise versa. Then the following month, David and Victoria are reported not to have attended the Peltz-Beckham vow renewals.
By December that year, it was reported Brooklyn no longer followed his parents and they no longer followed him, and the youngest brother was quick to set the record straight.
Sharing a screenshot of a news report on his Instagram story, which claimed the Beckhams had unfollowed their son, Cruz wrote: "NOT TRUE. My mum and dad would never unfollow their son … Let's get the facts right. They woke up blocked … as did I."
Brooklyn issues legal letter
Now up to present day (9 January 2026), it has been claimed Brooklyn sent a legal letter to his parents, insisting they only contact him via his lawyer; a rule which Victoria is believed to have broken when she 'liked' a post he made about a roast chicken.

“Truly, people do not know the full facts of this heartbreaking tale, and think Brooklyn was just being truculent when he blocked his parents," a source told The Sun.
“The reality is that he issued them with a letter at the end of last summer, asking for any correspondence to go via lawyers only, and wanted to try and make amends privately, not publicly.
“He felt his parents continued to ignore his wishes and kept mentioning him online instead of reaching out privately.”
The source continued: “They [David and Victoria] of course feel utterly bemused and devastated by this latest turn of events. There is no malice from their part, only concern.
“But it is clear, if there is going to be any reconciliation, it will be away from prying eyes and must be done privately.
“That’s all anyone wants but, alas, seems a long, long way off given they are only now communicating through lawyers.”
