Kristen Bell's husband had a unique response to commenters after sharing a very NSFW picture of the actor on Instagram.
Earlier this week, it was confirmed that Bell had received an Emmy nomination for her role in Netflix series Nobody Wants This, which follows the story of an unlikely couple falling in love.
Bell stars as Joanne, an agnostic sex podcaster, who embarks on a relationship with local Rabbi Noah Roklov (Adam Brody), much to surprise of their friends and families.
The nomination would be the first Emmy for The Good Place star, which called for a special celebration from comedian husband Dax Shepard.

"People might not know everything that happens behind the scenes in order to create an Emmy nominated performance like Kristen’s," he wrote on Instagram.

"This may or may not have been a part of her training, but it felt right. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!"
The image itself is a little unconventional to say the least, as it features the 44-year-old getting some in sun in a place where the sun usually doesn't shine. Taken in what appears to be the couple's backyard, Bell is doing either a cartwheel or a variation of the downward dog position on the patio while completely naked.
Well nearly naked, thanks to a pair of socks and a very well placed red square to preserve her modesty.

Shepard's followers were of course surprised to see the Armchair Expert podcaster share such a revealing image of Bell, sharing their initial reactions in the comments.
"Oh my God, Dax," wrote GOOP founder Gwyneth Paltrow, while The Vampire Diaries actor Nina Dobrev added: "Hahahaha yesssss go girl ! suns out buns out for that Emmy!!!"

Shepard only responded to one of the many comments left under the image, replying with a string of crying laughing emojis to Mae Margaret Whitman's comment: "Incredible form."
The image also generated a fair amount of discourse in the comments, as people speculated about what Bell's response would be to the only thing between her bare rear end being a small red rectangle.

"Just curious are you more of a 'permission' or 'forgiveness' husband when it comes to posts like this," one person commented, with a second person replying: "Based on what they’ve shared on the podcast for this type of post… Dax likely asked Kristin for permission. She usually doesn’t give af."
"I’m pretty sure he posted this before and said it was posted with permission," a third added.
