Singer and former Disney Channel star Dove Cameron has appeared on Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast and opened up about some fairly shocking events from her personal life.
Cooper’s podcast has been the spot for A-List celebrity talents to share their stories for well over a year now, with recent guests including Anna Kendrick, Jane Fonda, and Michelle Obama.
Her most recent conversation with Cameron has received widespread praise after the former Disney star opened up about some of the tragedies to have happened throughout her life.
The pop star revealed that she has anxiety related to her phone, in part caused by the fact that ‘all three of [her] big losses have come via phone call’.

Amongst these is her father, who died by suicide when she was just 15.

She stated that a family friend messaged to ask if her mum was about and, when she wasn’t, encouraged her to tell her mother to get in contact.
She said: "I just knew… I can't tell you why I knew. But it was not a normal interaction.
“She had no reason to be talking to me."
Cameron stated that when her mum got home, she called a family member who informed them her dad had passed away.
The former Descendants star revealed that this caused her to have a panic attack, saying: “It's the most out of control feeling you can have... Actually all three of my big losses have come via phone call, which I guess is pretty standard... But I have major phone anxiety, I think, because of stuff like this.
"I ran out of the room, I couldn't breathe."

One of the other big losses in her life she discussed was the murder of her childhood friend Hayley at the age of just nine.
Now 30, Cameron stated that the pair met when they were just two years old, adding that she ‘rarely talks about’ the incident.
Hayley’s parents were going through a divorce, with Cameron stating that in the time she spent staying at their house as a child, she thought Hayley’s dad had a ‘dark energy’ and ‘he was a very angry man.’
The singer said that her parents received a call from the school principal and picked up the landline to listen in.
She continued: “[Her principal] basically said like, 'This is going to be a really, really disturbing call. Hayley and [her sister] Kelsey are gone. Steve is gone, and he took the girls with him.
"They heard me like express some sort of child noise, like a gasp. And then they came in and we just didn't get out of bed for two days.”
