Drake has swiftly ‘retracted’ some dating advice he issued to IShowSpeed after a clip of the rapper barking at a ‘Goth Baddie’ went viral.
In case you missed it, Drake recently took part in a YouTube challenge known as ‘20 v 1 dating’ where he very quickly became enamoured with a woman known as Pinkchyu - aka the 'Goth Baddie'.
Almost as soon as they met, Pinkchyu, who was dressed in black PVC with a spiked collar and big black boots, had the award-winning rapper eating out the palm of her hand.
So much so, that at one point the 39-year-old told her: “You can look me dead in my eyes and if you say do anything, I would.”
Advert
To which she asked: “Would you bark for me?”

And Drake very willingly obliged, yelping back: “Arf, arf, arf.”
This left Pinkchyu with nothing else to say but: “Good boy.”
However, what makes the whole barking incident all the more interesting is that several years back streamer IShowSpeed, real name Darren Watkins, got in touch with Drake asking him how he could attract more women.
And in response, Drake told him: “Stop barking at them off the rip maybe just say something nice.”
Which seems like very good advice, but of course, after his performance on ‘20 v 1 dating’ started doing the rounds, Drake was forced to address his old comments.
“Darren… I retract my statement,” he wrote in an Instagram Stories update alongside a screenshot of the 2023 interaction.
Drake also shared a clip of IShowSpeed reacting to the clip of his barking and it’s safe to say, he wasn’t happy about him not following his own advice.

The rapper choosing Pinkchyu on ‘20 v 1 dating’ comes after he said in a 2025 interview with Bobbi Althoff that his dream girl is a woman ‘tweaked out, like goth, kind of like tatted all over’.
Prior to choosing her, he narrowed his options to three: Pinkchyu, Lena the Plug and Jordyn Lucas.
But it seemed clear from the start he knew which lady he was going to choose.
Explaining why he was taken with Pinkchyu on the NELK Kick stream on Saturday (8 August): "You're just like intriguing and you're from Texas and you have fangs.
"I just feel like I could learn new things. We're like opposites, but I feel opposites attract."
And he was so keen to impress that not only did he happily bark on her command, when she asked if he'd buy a house for her mum, he replied: "Oh yeah, I'd love to."
Pinkchyu then replied: "I could teach you a lot of things."
Taking to Instagram after the show, Pinkchyu revealed that she is ‘the goth baddie’ Drake has been looking for and commented: "I think I broke Drake lol."
In another post on her encounter with Drake, she wrote: "I can’t believe how far I’ve come in the past few years. Posting content with alternative music I wasn’t sure anyone else would enjoy, to seeing a generation celebrating goth culture. "
