According to Variety, Bauza died on Sunday at home and his cause of death was hypertensive cardiovascular disease.

The Cleveland Clinic describes hypertensive cardiovascular disease as a condition describing the damage to the heart due to high blood pressure.
It explains: "You may have thick and weak heart muscle from strain on your heart. This can lead to heart failure. This happens because long-term high blood pressure (hypertension) makes it harder for your heart to pump blood. And it often makes it more difficult for your heart muscle to relax."
"The walls of your blood vessels can also thicken because of high blood pressure. This becomes more dangerous when cholesterol collects inside the blood vessels.
"It raises your risk of coronary artery disease, heart attack and stroke."
Bauza has been remembered as an 'incredible talent'
The chairman of Warner Bros Television Group, Channing Dungey, described Bauza as a 'unique voice talent' who had the ability to bring 'joy and laughter to millions around the world'.
"He was the voice of Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck among countless other characters," she said in a poignant statement shared following the Toronto-born star's passing.
"He followed in the footsteps of giants like Mel Blanc. Eric said that carrying on the legendary legacy of the Looney Tunes was among the greatest honours of his life.
"In addition to his incredible talent, Eric was a treasured part of our animation family. Our hearts go out to his loved ones."
Bauza, who won three Emmy Awards for his work, had just celebrated the successful rollout of the live-action animation Coyote vs. Acme.
