Frankie Muniz has announced he and wife Paige Price are splitting after a decade together.
The Malcolm in the Middle star got hitched to Price in October 2019 and the couple share a five-year-old son Mauz.
In a ‘life update’ shared on social media, Muniz said: “Following a period of separation that we kept private, Paige and I have decided to move forward with ending our marriage.
“After 10 beautiful years together, we’ve grown in ways that made us realise our relationship feels most natural and strong as a deep friendship and as co-parents. We share an incredible son who remains the centre of our world, and we’re both happier, stronger parents because of the love and growth we’ve shared.”

The 40-year-old went on to say he was ‘endlessly grateful’ to Price for all she’d done for him and their family.

“She put her own dreams on hold so I could chase mine, and she was always my biggest supporter. That foundation of respect and friendship isn’t going anywhere. We’re excited to keep building Muniz Racing together and to co-parent our boy with the same teamwork and love we’ve always had.
“We’re closing one chapter with gratitude and opening the next with bright futures ahead, for us as individuals and especially for our son.”
He ended the lengthy post by thanking his followers for their ‘love and support’ and added that the couple had chosen ‘not to entertain any questions on the matter’ before asking people to respect their privacy.
Muniz initially shared the statement alongside a video of him, Price and little Mauz dancing to the song Check Yes, Juliet by We the Kings, but later removed the clip and replaced it with a photo of the family smiling into the camera.
In a comment, Price hit back at criticism the video had received, writing: "Frankie, I am so sorry that you felt the need to delete an old fun video of our family because people are so cruel to you.

“This world is so f***ed... divorce is bad, sure — it's not like we're excited about it... but we're two adults who know how to be on the same team. I can't believe people could scrutinise that."
Muniz and Price first met back in 2016 and got engaged in 2018 before quietly eloping the following year.
They marked their special day with a bigger wedding in 2020, and welcomed their little boy in March 2021.
Muniz found fame as a youngster playing the titular character in the sitcom Malcolm in the Middle from 2000 to 2006.
As well as his TV work, he starred in several films, including Agent Cody Banks, Racing Stripes, and Deuces Wild.
However, in 2008 he put his acting career on hold and began competing in open-wheel racing competitions.
Muniz now competes full time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series in his No. 33 Ford F-150.
He also recently reprised the role of Malcolm for the Disney+ four-parter Malcolm in the Middle: Life's Still Unfair.
