Freddie Mercury’s alleged 'secret daughter' has passed away at the age of 48, her widower has announced.
The woman - known only as B - was born after the Queen star supposedly had a relationship with one of his close friend's wives in 1976.
She previously claimed that she shared a 'very close and loving' connection with her alleged famous father, who she said was 'devoted' to her from the moment she entered the world.
On Thursday (15 January), B's husband Thomas told the Daily Mail that she has passed away 'peacefully after a long battle with chordoma, a rare spinal cancer'.

She leaves behind two sons, aged nine and seven.
Paying tribute to his late wife, Thomas said: "B is now with her beloved and loving father in the world of thoughts. Her ashes were scattered to the wind over the Alps."

Reports claim that only a handful of people in Mercury's inner circle were aware of her existence, despite him apparently visiting her regularly.
The music star is said to have maintained a close relationship with B until his death in 1991. Mercury passed away in November 1991 at the age of 45 after developing bronchial pneumonia, caused by AIDS.

B - who the singer reportedly affectionately referred to as 'Bibi' - is said to have provided inspiration for several songs written by her alleged father.
In a bombshell book penned by biographer Lesley-Ann Jones that was published last year, the shocking claims about Mercury's 'secret child' were laid out for fans.
Titled Love, Freddie: Freddie Mercury’s Secret Life and Love, it delves into B's claims about her relationship with Mercury. According to Jones, she saw 'proof' that supported B's claims.
In a handwritten letter included in one chapter of the book, Mercury's alleged love child said: "Freddie Mercury was and is my father.
"We had a very close and loving relationship from the moment I was born and throughout the final 15 years of his life. He adored me and was devoted to me.

"The circumstances of my birth may seem, by most people's standards, unusual and even outrageous. That should come as no surprise. It never detracted from his commitment to love and look after me."

"He cherished me like a treasured possession," B added.
Prior to her death, B was living in Europe and working in medicine, according to Jones' book.
The late 48-year-old is said to have approached the author in 2022 to set the record straight after 'more than three decades of lies, speculation and distortion'.

"That I choose to reveal myself in my own midlife is my decision and mine alone," B said. "I have not, at any point, been coerced into doing this.
"[Mercury] entrusted his collection of private notebooks to me, his only child and his next of kin, the written record of his private thoughts, memories and feelings about everything he had experienced."
Jones' book was based off the 17 handwritten diaries that the 'Bohemian Rhapsody' hitmaker supposedly gave B just three weeks before he died.
B previously explained that those who were aware of her existence 'kept his greatest secret out of loyalty to Freddie', while claiming that the rocker called her everyday - even while touring.
She said that she had led an 'intensely private' life with her husband and family, adding: "Nobody needs to know who I am."

In a statement shared discussing how Mercury's death had impacted her, B previously said: "I didn’t want to share my Dad with the whole world.
"After his death, I had to learn to live with the attacks against him, the misrepresentations of him, and with the feeling that my Dad now belonged to everyone.
"I cried and mourned my Dad, while fans all around the world mourned Freddie. When you are 15 years old, it’s not easy. I had to become an adult without him, and live all the structuring moments and events without his support.
"For 30 years I had to build my life and family without him and accept that he wouldn’t be there to share the happy moments with us. For 30 years, while the rest of the world was reinterpreting Mercury’s life, his music and all that he had been, I needed to have my Dad just for me and my family. How could I have spoken before?"
In the opening chapter, B said that while her birth may seem ‘unusual’ or ‘outrageous’ to others, the circumstances didn't impact her alleged relationship with Mercury.
"It never detracted from his commitment to love and look after me," she said. "He cherished me like a treasured possession."
