Georgia Harrison has spoken about the impact that being targeted by revenge porn has had on her life as part of a new documentary.

On 2 August, 2020 Georgia and her then-boyfriend Stephen Bear were filmed on CCTV having sex in his garden, though she didn't know she was being filmed at the time.

She said that when Bear showed her the footage she told him not to share it, but told Chelmsford Crown Court that he did distribute the video via his OnlyFans account.

In 2022 Bear was found guilty on two counts of disclosing private sexual photographs and films with intent to cause distress, and of voyeurism.

He was sentenced to 21 months in prison and also ordered to pay Harrison £207,900 in damages.

Harrison previously made the ITV documentary Revenge Porn: Georgia vs Bear and has been working on another one titled Georgia Harrison: Porn, Power and Profit with the first part on TV tonight.

In the programme she tries to track the potential profits made by the people who keep sharing the revenge porn video in which she was filmed without her consent.

She said she tried contacting 'every major porn site' to get the video taken down but compared her efforts to 'a game of whack-a-mole' and said she was 'scared' of the possibility that she might come across the video again despite her efforts to get it taken down.

Georgia said: "It really does scare me knowing that I'm potentially going to have to discover this again and watch it back, that moment changed me forever. Having to re-live that and re-watch that, I am scared.

"That's embarrassing to be honest. These men are sitting at home watching this."

At one point during production of the documentary she suggested pausing things for a bit, saying 'I don't know if we should stop for a second' before stepping out for a break.

"I think I just forgot how bad it is," Georgia said as she reflected on how much it was affecting her.

"It was a complete and utter violation of me as a person, as a human being, as a woman. This man is literally on the sex offenders register but it's still there. How am I ever going to get that off?"

Harrison has said she continues to 'really struggle' with how the video of her filmed without her consent is still on the internet, saying she has 'a lot of people messaging me all the time, sending me clips of it'.

She said it was 'always something in the back of my mind' but found it particularly difficult when she had to confront 'exactly where it is and how many places it’s in'.

Georgia Harrison: Porn, Power and Profit airs on ITV2 at 9.00pm on 18 and 19 February.
