GK Barry’s girlfriend has spoken out in support of the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! star amid rumours she’ll end up quitting the show early.

The TikTok sensation really drew the short straw at the end of the first episode when the public voted for her to take on the first Bushtucker Trial of the series.

That came after the 25-year-old struggled to get through the opening trial with some meme-worthy facial expressions and screams.

Real name Grace Keeling, she ended up doing pretty well in her trial, ‘Vile Volcano’ as she shouted out some comments at Ant and Dec that will likely become part of the I’m A Celeb joke book.

But as her list of fears seems to be pretty long, there have been some rumours the podcaster will end up quitting the ITV show.

“The idea of a trial, I don’t think I am going to be very good at it, I am going to be one of those people that screams and cries and mildly vomits,” she admitted in her pre-camp intro.

“I am not good with heights, I am not good with animals, I am not good with anything that this show entails so, really happy to be here.”

And some users have been writing on social media that she wouldn’t ‘last two days’ in the jungle as others bet on her walking out in the first week.

Others even predicted she might ‘leave Gemma Collins style’ as one simply put: GK Barry won’t survive 48 hours the rate she’s going.”

As some started making the claims before she even entered the jungle: “I genuinely never thought I’d see GK Barry on here, I know she said she would but this is mad she’s not gonna survive.”

But as many fans still have faith in the star, especially after she won nine out of a possible 10 stars in last night’s (18 November) trial, her girlfriend has been piling on the support.

Ipswich Town striker Ella Rutherford wrote on Instagram that GK Barry is ‘doing us so proud’ as she called watching the show the ‘best time of the day’.

Celebrating her trial, the footballer wrote: “You count them stars queen. 9/10 She’s fkn smashed that, never in doubt. So proud of my lil jungle babe.”

And while she admitted she ‘shouldn’t laugh’ as the TikTok star struggled through, she also said of her girlfriend: “The nation gonna fall in love, just like I did.”
