Gypsy Rose Blanchard has admitted that her fiancé Ken Urker was 'deeply distressed' about a feud with her sister in their final conversation before his death.
The 34-year-old, who shared a one-year-old daughter with Blanchard, was tragically found dead in his Louisiana home on Thursday 1 October.
Although his cause of death is yet to be confirmed, his wife-to-be has launched an anti-cyberbullying and harassment petition in the wake of his passing, having already paid tribute to her 'greatest love story'.
In a new interview, Blanchard has revealed what they last spoke about on the phone, as well as responding to the criticism she has received from her sister Autumn since his death.

Speaking exclusively to US Weekly, the 35-year-old said: “At this time, I do not want the focus surrounding Ken’s passing to become centred on negativity or disagreements between Autumn and me.
"It is no secret that Autumn did not approve of Ken’s relationship with me, and there has been significant tension between us, including public comments she made about me in the months leading up to his passing.
“Right now, my priority is grieving Ken, supporting our daughter and honouring his memory. I remain in communication with Ken’s family, and aside from my relationship with Autumn, those communications have been positive and respectful during an incredibly painful time.”
The mother-of-one went on to suggest that during her final conversation with Urker, which occurred last Monday, he had admitted that he was 'deeply distressed' by the dispute with Autumn, who allegedly threatened to 'go harder' publicly and contribute to the 'negative commentary and scrutiny he was already experiencing'.

She concluded: “I would much rather use my voice to focus on that work and on preserving Ken’s legacy than continue a public family dispute. I sincerely hope everyone can allow Ken to be remembered for the person and father he was rather than allowing disagreements among those who loved him to overshadow his life.”
Blanchard had first met Urker when she was behind bars for the second-degree murder of her mother Clauddine ‘Dee Dee’ Blanchard in 2015.
He had reached out after watching her documentary and their friendship soon turned romantic, but things broke down after he popped the question, with Blanchard later marrying Ryan Anderson while she was still incarcerated.
However, after their divorce and her release from prison, she rekindled her relationship with Urker and they had their child Aurora together.
In her tribute to Urker, she wrote: "You will always be my greatest love story. You will be remembered and loved forever."

In a statement to People, she added: “I’m in disbelief. I can’t think. I’ve screamed until my throat burns.
"Ken was an amazing father and a man who was deeply loved. He will forever be my soulmate and my red string, a connection that time, distance, and even death can never erase.”
She told the outlet: “Ken endured an unimaginable level of public scrutiny and relentless cyberbullying across social media platforms, including TikTok and Reddit.
“The cruelty directed toward him was something no human being should have to endure. I believe the tremendous weight of that scrutiny and harassment had a profound impact on him, and I hope his passing serves as a reminder that there is a real person behind every screen, every headline, and every comment.”

According to a police incident report: “On October 1, 2026 at approximately 1818 hours, Sergeant Brandon Smith. Deputy Angel Tyler, and Lieutenant Aaron Montez with the Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office were dispatched to a welfare concern in reference to Kenan Urker, DOB 10/01/1992 not answering his phone or the door to his residence at 107 Double H Dr Lot 4, Raceland.”
It added: “Deputies entered the residence through the front door and was able to see Mr. Urker from the living room area lying on his back in the bed. Deputies walked in the direction of the room and located paraphernalia (syringes and spoon) in the bathroom next to a brown powdery substance. Deputies located a syringe and a handgun on the nightstand next to the bed. Mr. Urker was found lying on the bed on his back, cold to the touch, and appeared to have been there for an extended period of time. His face and his arms were blue. He had a paper towel placed on his left arm with what appeared to be blotches of blood on the paper towel.”
It continued: “The handgun on the night stand was holstered laying next to two shot glasses and a syringe. Nothing else inside of the bedroom appeared to be disturbed or moved.”
