Heidi Klum gets 'out of hand' as she unveils her most 'unhinged' Halloween costume yet
It's that time of year again when the world waits with bated breath over what Heidi Klum is going to wear for Halloween.
And it's safe to say the 'Queen of Halloween' didn't disappoint this year, undergoing a bloody transformation in what many are hailing as her most gruesome design yet.
The supermodel-turned-TV personality went viral in 2022 when she arrived at the annual Halloween party on the end of a fishing line, encased in a slithering worm costume.
In past years Klum has dressed as the Greek mythological character Medusa, a peacock, an 8ft Transformer toy, a werewolf from Michael Jackson’s Thriller music video, a clone accompanied by several Klum-lookalikes, and Kali, the multiarmed Hindu goddess of death and destruction.

This year, she became a giant, gruesome severed hand for the bash in New York, 25 years after she began hosting the much-anticipated yearly event.
Klum was completely unrecognisable, with only her eyes and mouth showing, and with blood dripping from her mouth as she stuck her tongue out.
The top of the hand ended in a gory assortment of dangling ligaments as she posed with helpers in hazmat suits.
She explained how the idea came to her last year to be a giant hand with long red nails, a thumb ring, and her engagement ring and wedding band.
“I looked at my hand and I thought, ‘Hey, I think I could fit my body in this somehow,’” Klum said.
The model explained how it took about five to six hours to get into her hand costume this year, but making it took a lot longer.
She posted hints on her Instagram earlier in the day as bloodied prosthetics were applied to her face.
“Hands down, the hardest thing is carrying it,” Klum said. “It’s quite heavy.”
Her husband, musician Tom Kaulitz, did not attend this year because he was on tour but the details on her costume include a tattoo of his name on her ring finger, along with her palm lines and veins.
“A little bit of Tom is with me,” she said.
Fans rushed to hail the outfit as 'genius' and her most unhinged yet in comments shared on social media.
"Hands down the most unhinged costume of the year," one person wrote. "Heidi Klum the queen of halloween remains undefeated."
"Heidi Klum deserves a lifetime achievement award for costumes. Nobody takes Halloween dressing as seriously as she does," another posted.
A third, also on X said: "Genius. This must be the most creative Halloween costume I've seen from Heidi Klum."
