Jack Osbourne gives concerning update on mum Sharon after husband Ozzy’s death

He's said she 'feels the love' from Ozzy's fans wishing her well

Jack Osbourne has spoken out about his memories of watching his dad, Ozzy, perform on stage one last time, and also updated people on how his mum, Sharon, is doing.

Rock legend Ozzy Osbourne sadly passed away earlier this year at the age of 76, but not before appearing on stage in his hometown of Birmingham one final time before a massive crowd to raise money for charity.

Seated in a throne, the Prince of Darkness bowed out of the mortal plane in incredible style with a night fans would never forget, and neither would his family.

A public funeral procession for Osbourne took place on 30 July, with Sharon, Jack, sisters Kelly and Aimee, and their half-brother, Louis, all in attendance.

Speaking to Good Morning America, Jack was asked how his mother was coping, and he explained what he was telling people whenever they asked him about Sharon.

He said: "You know when people have been asking me that question I say 'she's ok, but she's not ok'."

When asked if his mum could feel the 'love and appreciation' of Ozzy's legion of fans sending her their best wishes, Jack replied: "I know she feels the love. I think that has been at a level that none of us could really, every child sits there and kind of has this thought, one day their parents won't be there, and what will that be like.

"It's just a part of being human. Just didn't think of it, you didn't think. It was a different weight to it."

Many of Ozzy's fans have been worried about how Sharon will cope with his death, given that she has been Ozzy's rock for decades and the legendary musician himself has credited her with his longevity.

Given her loss, it's entirely understandable if she's 'ok but not ok'.

Ozzy had said that without Sharon, 'I would definitely not have the success I have', so his fans were pleased to see her out and about recently with daughter Kelly, indulging in a spot of falconry.

Sharing the footage, Sharon thanked people for their 'overwhelming love and support', saying their messages had 'brought me more comfort than you know' and that they had 'carried me'.

Jack was also asked how he felt on 5 July at the 'Back to the Beginning' concert, which would be his dad's final performance.

"I was funny, before he went on stage I ran back into the dressing room and..." Jack said, before pausing for a moment to compose himself.

"I just gave him a big hug. I just kissed him, I just said, I was like 'crush it, you're gonna do so good'. And I was crying, I was in the crowd, there was this area in the crowd I was in with my brother and we both were just crying."
