Sharon Osbourne has opened up about her 'death pact' with Ozzy and why she didn't go through with it.
It's been almost four months since heavy metal's 'Prince of Darkness' passed away at the age of 76 from a heart attack in addition to suffering from Parkinson's disease for years.
In a new interview on Piers Morgan Uncensored, his wife of 43 years recalled: “He had a heart attack.

“I ran downstairs, and there he was, and they were trying to resuscitate him, and I’m like, ‘Don’t — just leave him. Leave him. You can’t. He’s gone’.
“I knew instantly he’d gone. And they tried and tried, and then they took him by helicopter to the hospital and they tried, and it’s like, ‘He’s gone. Just leave him’.”

The 73-year-old admitted that she 'would have just gone with Ozzy' if it wasn't for her children after previous comments about an assisted-suicide pact.
In her 2007 memoir Sharon Osbourne Extreme: My Autobiography, she revealed that Ozzy had made a pact with her to go to a Swiss assisted-dying organisation if either of them were to suffer from dementia. He later said in a 2014 interview that the pact would include other life-threatening disease and illnesses.

Speaking to the Daily Mirror in 2007, Sharon said: “We believe 100 percent in euthanasia so [we] have drawn up plans to go to the assisted suicide flat in Switzerland if we ever have an illness that affects our brains. If Ozzy or I ever got Alzheimer’s, that’s it — we’d be off. We gathered the kids around the kitchen table, told them our wishes and they’ve all agreed to go with it.”
However, on Piers Morgan's recent podcast episode, she said an experience 'years ago' changed her view on assisted suicide.

“You know they’ve been unbelievable, just magnificent with me, all three of them,” Sharon said of her kids Aimee, Kelly and Jack Osbourne.
“Years ago, when I had one of my mental breakdowns, I went into a little facility to help with my head.
“And there were two girls over there. They didn’t know each other, but they were in there, each mother had committed suicide.
“And I saw the state that these two young women were in and what it had done to their lives, and I thought, I will never, ever, ever do that to my kids.”
Although, during a 2023 episode of The Osbournes podcast, Sharon appeared to confirm that the plan was still in place.
“Do you think that we’re gonna suffer?,” Sharon said when asked about the pact.
Jack said: “Aren’t we already all suffering?,” as she responded: “Yes, we all are, but I don’t want it to actually hurt as well. Mental suffering is enough pain without physical. So if you’ve got mental and physical, see ya.”
