Jade Goody’s son Freddy admits he’s ‘homeless’ ahead of birth of his child

Freddy suggested he may name his child after his late mother

Jade Goody's son has opened up about his 'complicated' living situation, as he admitted that he's homeless ahead of the birth of his first child.

The younger son of the late Big Brother star and her former partner Jeff Brazier, Freddy Brazier has recently followed in the footsteps of his reality star parents by appearing on Celebrity Race Across the World with his father.

However, the 21-year-old also has some major news in his personal life, as he is set to become a father for the first time.

Freddy revealed he and his partner Holly Swinburn were expecting a child together last month and has now opened up about his impending parenthood in an interview with Closer.

Revealing that he's considering naming the child after his late mother if it's a girl, Freddy said: "I actually think if the baby is a girl, I'll call her Jade."

He continued: "I think that would be really mad to do so, but I don't know. We might think of some other names, not that I prefer them, but no one can take that name away from me, so who knows?"

Freddy was just four years old when his mother passed away from cervical cancer in March 2009.

Freddy also admitted that he always knew he'd be a young father, adding: "I always knew I was going to be a young dad. It was always going to come at some point.

"I've been silly in the past. I'm surprised it didn't come earlier, but I'm happy."

The reality star also revealed that having a baby isn't the only major upheaval in his life at the moment, as he is technically 'homeless' at the moment.

"I'm not living anywhere exactly," he explained.

"It's a bit of a complicated one. I'm just staying with my friends, couch surfing and loving life. I love a sofa and an air bed."

Following his mother's death, Freddy grew up with his father Jeff and older brother Bobby, who is known for his work on EastEnders and Strictly Come Dancing.

Freddy's older brother has also spoken about his excitement about becoming an uncle, telling MailOnline the whole family would be pitching in to help the young parents while at the National Television Awards.

"I'm excited to become an uncle; it's going to be a team effort, like raising anything is," he said.

"My dad has been super supportive and we're going to raise the baby together."

The 22-year-old actor went on to admit that he'd thought the pregnancy news was a hoax at first, adding: "At first I thought it could have been a prank when I heard about it."
