Jake Paul has shown off an injury after claims that his upcoming fight against Anthony Joshua is off, with him insisting that he's still ready to step into the ring.
The YouTuber-turned-boxer is set to step into the ring against the two-time heavyweight champion of the world in just a few days in a fight many fear is quite the mismatch.
Paul evidently knows how to throw a punch and has several fights under his belt, though some of those were against opponents with experience in sports other than boxing or significantly older than him, but many boxing fans would not put him in the same league as Joshua.
There's a reason why former boxer David Haye said he 'genuinely fears for Jake Paul’s life' on this one, and former heavyweight champion Bermane Stiverne recently claimed he'd heard the fight was off because Paul was 'injured'.

However, Paul has posted on social media that the idea he'd pull out of his upcoming fight with Joshua was 'ridiculous' as he insisted he was 'not pulling out' and shared more promotion for the bout.

He also recently appeared on The Pat McAfee Show where he showed off an injury he'd scored as he was asked about having a busted nose from the sparring he was doing.
Paul said: "I'm not going to lie, the sparring, the heavyweights, my nose has moved a couple millimetres this camp.
"A guy by the name of Frank Sanchez, he definitely cracked it a little bit, so it definitely has slight little something in there.
"But yeah man, it's bad. I'm like Squidward, dog."

It doesn't sound like he plans on dropping out of the fight, as he declared he would fight Joshua and 'beat his ass'.
"I'm not just walking in to a fight. I'm going to win," Paul declared.
"And that's what's going to shock the world. I will become the king of boxing and own the whole entire sport."
Instead of a cancellation, the 'major update' he had for people was to share that his Most Valuable Promotions outfit had signed Caroline Dubois, the younger sister of Daniel Dubois.
So as far as it sounds, the fight on 19 December is still supposed to be going ahead, and boxing fans will be able to see how Paul fares when he steps into the ring with someone who has plenty of experience in the sport but isn't twice his age.
You can watch it on Netflix.
